A prominent Italian historian has claimed that the Roman Empire collapsed because a “contagion of homosexuality and effeminacy” made it easy pickings for barbarian hordes, sparking a furious row.

Actor Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy, Jurassic World, etc.) was called out by proud and unrepentant lesbian and actress Ellen Page when Pratt mentioned that he is on the "Daniel Diet" that he found out about at his church. Page then took it upon herself to find out what church Pratt attends (Zoe Church in Los Angeles) and condemned the church, and hence Pratt, because it is "anti LGBT" (i.e. it sticks with biblical teachings and acknowledges that homosexuality is a sin).

I highly doubt that it was a coincidence (more like "See, I'm not homophobic!"), but a couple of days later Pratt went on the Ellen the Degenerate Show and joked around with the proud and unrepentant homosexual/homosexual activist, something about selling sequined nipple pasties if his acting career should fail.

While I have issues with supposed followers of Christ selling pornographic material on national tv, I have more problems with that supposed follower of Christ joking around and not sharing God's Word with a proud and unrepentant sinner like Ellen the Degenerate (he could have publically invited her to his church).

Further investigation into Pratt's beliefs revealed these words:

“My faith is important to me but no church defines me or my life, and I am not a spokesman for any church or group of people. My values define who I am. We need less hate in this world, not more. I am a man who believes that everyone is entitled to love who they want free from the judgement of their fellow man,”...Jesus said ‘I give you a new command, love one another,'”. “This is what guides me in my life. It sounds like Chris Pratt is either another rainbow flag waver passing himself off as a Christian or he's just terrified of being blacklisted by the 'gaystapo' like so many other entertainers have been (I'm going with the former, not the latter).

Sharon Mattes, known as Sharon Bottoms when she fought to overcome anti-LGBTQ bias in a legal battle for custody of her son in the 1990s—a headline case for queer parents—has died at age 48.

Sharon had met her soon-to-be partner April Wade in 1992. She had a son from a previous marriage to a man. In 1993, she told her mother, Kay Bottoms, that she didn’t want the boy to spend time at Kay’s house, because Kay’s live-in boyfriend had repeatedly molested Sharon when she was a teen, writes Carlos Ball in his 2012 book, The Right to Be Parents. Kay responded by filing a lawsuit for custody of the boy, claiming Sharon was unfit because of her relationship with April.
A Virginia juvenile court granted custody to Kay. During a later Virginia County Circuit Court hearing, Kay testified the boy “shouldn’t be raised by lesbians” and would be mentally and physically harmed because of the women’s relationship. Sharon was forced to describe on the stand what she and April did in their bedroom. This included oral sex, which was illegal under state law at the time, even if consensual. The judge ruled against Sharon, writing in 1993, “The mother’s conduct is illegal and immoral and renders her an unfit parent.” Custody went to Kay and Sharon was prohibited from even visiting.

… In 1994, the Virginia Court of Appeals overturned the ruling, but in 1995 the Virginia Supreme Court, flipped it back returning the child to Kay Bottoms.

… Diane Anderson-Minshall, editor at large for the Advocate, in 2012 listed Sharon’s case as one of “The Court Cases That Changed Our World.” She wrote, “The ruling galvanized gay activists — many of them lesbian moms like Sharon —

So you are celebrating that a woman died young from a prolonged illness that may or may not have had anything to do with her sexual orientation, that a child was given into the care of a KNOWN abusive guardian, the same guardian that according to your beliefs made someone else LGBT, and all against the wishes of both the father and mother of said child.

If you have information on Mattes cause of death, please share. I'm simply pointing out that like so many in the movement that she was a part of, Sharon Mattes died at a relatively young age.

So you are saying that despite everyone in a position to personally know them both all agreeing that Sharon was the better guardian it was better for the courts to turn the boy over to a known abusive dysfunctional guardian.

The Juvenile Judge who originally heard the case in 1993 was correct when he stated “The mother’s conduct is illegal and immoral and renders her an unfit parent.”

The reason I used the word "allegations" is because if that were used in court during the custody battle, unless the live-in boy friend had been convicted of sexual abuse of a minor, it would be an allegation that Sharon Mattes made, nothing that had been proven.
