No, that is not the issue. Bankruptcy can be profitable. Perhaps the issue is the ability of Donald Trump to convince people, including the major banks who were simply too invested in him, that he was/is a good business man. If he wanted to convince people he was/is a sleaze bag, both personally and professionally, that would have been the honest way to go. But that would not support Donny's ego or put $ in his pocket.
And maybe the bigger issue is the move of profitability to the top of virtue.

I personally don't believe that most Americans (especially conservatives) are greedy or see profitability as their main goal. I believe that President Trump has done a great job of turning this country in the direction that it needs to go. Not since JFK have we had a more popular President. He's uniting a country that was fractured due to a clown act that was popular in the liberal gutter (CNN et al) who did more to divide the country than unite us. Those of us who have sense and are on-board truly hope that the mindless liberals who loved Obama and his cronies will grow some sense and get on board the Trump Train. It's not very likely but we can hope, since, after all: this is a free country... and FAR MORE free with a free-thinker like President Trump in office. :thumb:
