I came across this video today. This was the event that first brought me to TOL. It is interesting to hear this prospective.

when I first joined here I said that the Haris and Klebold families lost more that day than the other families. You can hear in her voice and her story the anguish that she still feels. Hearing her speak about her son and the signs that he hid and she missed about his mental illness is something I hope other people see. I have a young friend who has a mental illness and while she trusts me and confides in me, I also know she still hides aspects of her struggle. We need to watch our friends and families and talk to them to find out what's going on in their lives. Mental illness can creep into our lives so easily and it destroys people.
