Is this a failure of the Justice System?

The documentary on Netflix "Making a Murderer" shows a man who spent 18 in prison who was then cleared by DNA. He made the mistake of suing the County, and ended up being accused of murder and found guilty. It looks like this man and his nephew have been railroaded, and a growing number of people are outraged and want them released.

Have any of you watched it? What say you?

I found it fascinating, and even though I normally stand with the prosecution in such cases, this one angered me as I watched what happened to this family.

If he has not committed a crime then all of those who helped in a conviction need to spend an equal amount of time in prison.

I agree. And if you watch the documentary, you'll see exactly which ones need to go to prison....for a long time. The prosecutor already lost his job because of sexting, but there are at least five others that should pay for what they did.
