As you look forward to the "new year", my prayer for you (if you aren't saved or are unsure of your salvation) is that you will look back to the cross and trust the Lord believing that Christ died for your sins and that He was buried and rose again the third day (1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV). It's only then for you that "old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new".
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Living in the Eastern Time Zone is a plus for New Year's Eve. We get to watch the ball at Times Square, and when it's midnight in Times Square, it's midnight everywhere in the Eastern Time Zone.
What do you people in the Central, Mountain, and Pacific do? Do they show the ball at Times Square on a delay?
