Years ago when I was a single young man I did stand up comedy for about 5 years. A couple of months ago an old comedy buddy of mine found me on Facebook, told me he was doing a show at the Moose Lodge in the city where I live and invited me to open for him. Long story short, after a couple decades on the sidelines, I have been dabbling in comedy shows once again. The opportunity has come up for me to put together a workshop for people who want to do comedy in Christian venues. I thought a fun way to begin marketing my workshop would be to put together a top ten list of reasons to attend a comedy workshop.
Here is what I have so far...
1. There are a lot more churches than there are comedy clubs.
2 The pastor of the local "mega church" drives a much nicer car than Delmar does.
