I put this in play not to engage Res, but to formalize my broad complaint that though I've gone out of my way to disengage with the fellow, he's continuing to stalk and post about and near me, create threads aimed at distorting my positions, etc.

Here's how it actually stands.


18: the number of times I've posted in the past 50 active threads created by Res.

16 of those 18 are found in two threads.

193: the number of Res posts in Quixote's alone. lain:

What I found were certain posters, known mostly for negative approach, did poorly as thread generators, that they weren't effective in drawing interest, on average.

Most of mine are bombs...

No, that's on hand. It took me that long to decide if you were even worth a cut and paste.

I considered noting the hypocrisy of your whining bits, your stalking flame outs and bench time, the way you follow me about, the hypocrisy of one of the preeminent Cub Reporters using the word whine or noting you've closed threads to do precisely what you're complaining about where I've only closed threads being trolled.

But really, ultimately, you're mostly a known quantity. So given you're not within the spirit of the thread I'll close you out until you're trundling back into the darkness then open it for anyone who wants to actually engage on the subject.

Headline news is relevant and topical. It's the best source of new-thread material. If you don't like [arepublicanchick aka TruthSetsFree aka coulter4presidents aka etc] having her name on all the threads, encourage others to start pulling their weight with useful conversation starters. :thumb:

Something delusional is going on there. "Useful conversation starters?" lain: Stripe must have fallen on his head. She and serpentdove are neck-in-neck for "least likely to ever have a conversation at TOL."
