How misunderstood is the word justice. The old testament justice was your just punishment for breaking the law. The new testament justice is: God will use the same amount on you on judgement day, that you use your whole life. The same amount of wrath, the same amount of punishment, the same amount of criticism, the same amount of mercy, the same amount of compassion, the same amount of love. So every time you look and judge someone else's evils. Your setting the pattern for your own judgement. The same way that you stand up for your rights on earth, is setting the pattern on how God is going to stand up for His rights on judgement day. Boy are we in alot of trouble.
Jesus changed the definition of justice. when He changed the law.

Matt 18:23-35
23 "Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.
24 "And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.
25 "But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made.
26 "The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, 'Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.'
27 "Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.
28 "But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, 'Pay me what you owe!'
29 "So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.'
30 "And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt.
31 "So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done.
32 "Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, 'You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.
33 'Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?'
34 "And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.
35 "So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses."

Matt 23:23-24
23 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.

Acts 8:32-33
32 The place in the Scripture which he read was this: "He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and as a lamb before its shearer is silent, so He opened not His mouth.

(NKJ)

Isa 42:1-4

1 "Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, my Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; he will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.
2 He will not cry out, nor raise His voice, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street.

(NKJ)

1 Cor 6:6-8
6 But brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers!
7 Now therefore, it is already an utter failure for you that you go to law against one another. Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why do you not rather let yourselves be cheated?
8 No, you yourselves do wrong and cheat, and you do these things to your brethren!

The new testament justice is different than the old testament justice. Because it is based on different laws. Jesus changed the law from the old testament. Jesus redefined justice. Jesus annulled the former commandment.

[Heb 7:12, 18
12 For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law. ...
18 For on the one hand there is an annulling of the former commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness,

Justice is what you deserve for your actions.

I said
The old testament law was an eye for an eye. If you live by that you will be judged by the old testament law. Which everyone fell short. The new testament law of love is if you love you will be loved.

[Luk 6:37-38
37 "Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
38 "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."

Justice is what you deserve for your actions.

I said
How come everyone is missing the fact that if anyone could have gotten it right in the old testament there wouldn't have been any reason Jesus would have to come down to show us. Jesus came to show us how wrong they were in the old testament. Jesus came down to tell the Jews they had it all wrong. And that He had the only truth and the only way to the Father. Most people don't have any idea of what the definition of love is. The Love God created. Nobody in the old testament had a clue. The problem with the way the old testament people seen the law was they used it on others. Instead of themselves. Jesus came down to demonstrate the right use of the law. He used it on Himself and not others. That is why He was without sin.

[Heb 4:12-16
12 For the word of God [is] living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things [are] naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we [must give] account.
14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] confession.
15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all [points] tempted as [we are, yet] without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
