I think its scary that anyone believes in it at all.

True, but fortunately it's quite unlikely to happen in this country. It's more like an "intellectual" exercise for folks who feel frustrated with their government. This is a way they can feel better about the way they feel, without actually doing anything about it. (Not that they don't try to do things about it in other venues, but Shadowgov is not it.)
