self-glorifying claims

Those self-glorifying claims are:

"I am saved"
"I am elect"
"I am holy"
"I am sinless"
"I obey all Jesus' commands"

They are frequently used in Christian community, at least in this forum.

It is so disgraceful to say the least.

Jesus chastised Pharisees by saying this to them:

"I'm glad I'm not like that man over there;I am a righteous man, not a low-life like he is."

We walk in obedience as we have been converted and caused to do so.
