Yeah, you got that one wrong. We absolutely know that Clinton won around three million more of those people.
It is my understanding of Fool's commentary on the popular vote is that the fact we don't have that. But if we did, then the public would see voting differently than they do now (for the most part).

As Fool explained; a lot of voters in a predominately Republican state would not deem their vote as worth much because they pretty much know the EC is going Republican.
IF we had a popular vote, that type of thinking would change.
The whole strategy changes.

He's not denying Clinton got more individual votes for her.
He's saying that count could have been much different IF the country had voted KNOWING it was determined by a popular vote and not an EC vote.

That was my understanding of him too. It's a speculation that requires a shift we have no real reason to believe would be the case, no hard data to confirm any of it. What we do know is that around three million more people, voters, cast theirs for the losing weasel.

As Fool explained; a lot of voters in a predominately Republican state would not deem their vote as worth much because they pretty much know the EC is going Republican. IF we had a popular vote, that type of thinking would change.

Maybe it does/maybe it doesn't. When I've voted for a Democrat I did so knowing it would only reflect in the popular tally. When I've voted Republican I did so fully understanding that if I sat on my hands the Republican would still win the nomination. I suspect that's true for most, that we vote for our own reasons and sense of connection or obligation as citizens, but what I know is how people actually voted.

He's not denying Clinton got more individual votes for her. He's saying that count could have been much different IF the country had voted KNOWING it was determined by a popular vote and not an EC vote.
Again it's really just a speculation offered as an equal rebuttal to the literal fact. In that, it's wrong.

She's a "Hawk" when it comes to war and she certainly appeared to desire a war with Russia.

I don't think 'desire' is the best way to put it.

Hillary is simply an instigator. You make that women the Commander in Chief and that smirk on her face would start a war. I doubt she would have been nearly as well received as people try to say- everyone talks about 'experience', but if you have something in particular written right on your forehead it doesn't really matter

Trump will certainly have a war during his Presidency. That war will be fought between liberal Hollywood and Trump. After the other night's Global Awards attack by, Merryl Streep and Trump's subsequent Tweets, it looks like we've seen the beginning of a "Not so beautiful friendship" if I may borrow a line from Casablanca?

President Trump will have to do battle with not only Hollywood but, the liberal press, the Government Democrats and about one-half of the U.S. citizenry who voted for Hillary. As he presses ahead, he'll see plenty of obstacles to overcome during his Presidency. Frankly, I believe he's up to the task.

From what I've recently heard, Trump will have the U.S. build "The Wall" and he'll get Mexico to reimburse our country over a period of time. No doubt, a very long time. The Wall will cost the U.S. and Mexico Billions of dollars to build. I believe President Trump is not only serious about building the wall, he will accomplish what he's setting out to do. After all, he's a businessman by trade.

One of his goals is to dismantle Obamacare, thank God. Obamacare has become a burden on the Middle and lower middle class. The deductibles and monthly payouts are too high therefore, the only thing Obamacare represents is, "Catastrophic Health insurance." So, unless you have a heart attack, stroke, accident, etc, the Insurance is useless to many.

Hey, if you really want to try something new try talking up your side instead of spending most of it talking about the guys you beat. :plain:

Otherwise it's a bit like interviewing someone who won the Oscar and all they want to talk about is why the other performances weren't as good. What you're doing with this thread is, as they say in Mississippi, older than soap.

Of course, in Mississippi that just means it's been around for ten to fifteen years, but you get the point.

I'm happy to see that Trump is already getting things done before he's even in office. Look at the Auto manufacturers who have decided to stay in the U.S. and refurbish their factories. This is all, thanks to Trump who'll be inaugurated on the 20th of this month. How cool is that?? I earnestly believe that Trump will do great things for America. He's the opposite of Obama.

well, no

you bang on about "the popular vote" as if it matters

it doesn't

the electoral college vote matters

if the popular vote mattered, neither of the candidates won

depending on whose numbers you use, of the total number of Americans of voting age:

Hillary got 30.1%
Trump got 28.8%
most of the rest didn't bother to vote - some few threw their vote away by voting third party

so yes, town - hillary managed to find a whole bunch of retards to vote for her - 30.1% of all americans who could have

which means that 69.9% of americans didn't vote for her

i know, i know - you're devastated

go find a quiet room and hug a puppy

Did Trump convince Ford to move jobs out of Mexico?

"...Ford, on Monday morning appeared to confirm Kasich's version of events. "Ford has not spoken with Mr. Trump, nor have we made any changes to our plans. We decided to move the F-650 and F-750 medium-duty trucks to Ohio Assembly in 2011, long before any candidates announced their intention to run for U.S. president," the statement read."

While Carrier isn't a auto manufacturer, it decided to stay in Indiana due to corporate welfare.

Sarah Palin on Carrier deal: corporate welfare the “hallmark of corruption”

"When government steps in arbitrarily with individual subsidies, favoring one business over others, it sets inconsistent, unfair, illogical precedent. Meanwhile, the invisible hand that best orchestrates a free people’s free enterprise system gets amputated. Then, special interests creep in and manipulate markets. Republicans oppose this, remember? Instead, we support competition on a level playing field, remember? Because we know special interest crony capitalism is one big fail.
Politicians picking and choosing recipients of corporate welfare is railed against by fiscal conservatives, for it’s a hallmark of corruption. And socialism. The Obama Administration dealt in it in spades. Recall Solyndra, Stimulus boondoggles, and all their other taxpayer-subsidized anchors on our economy. A $20 trillion debt-ridden country can’t afford this sinfully stupid practice, so vigilantly guard against its continuance, or we’re doomed."

Your guy aint so great after all Grosnick.
