It does seem that much of what has been reported in the foreign press misrepresents or over simplifies the situation in Sweden. It is not "business as usual" here. The government has just simply put more responsibility on the individual.

There is a voluntary lockdown in place. People are advised to work from home where possible and maintain social distancing. They are told not to visit elderly relatives and of course wash their hands. The local economy has still suffered.

With new numbers now suggesting Sweden has as many deaths per million of the population as some of Europe’s hardest hit -- like Italy and Spain -- government resolve will be tested. Sweden does calculate all deaths in the country -- as opposed to just hospital deaths -- which gives officials some space to argue for their approach. But if the numbers rocket, they’ll have to think again.

Yet you will have a population that will have increased for the coronavirus is killing far less than your national population growth. Now do the math. Divide the pre- and post- gdp by the population to see how much wealth each person will have to support themselves both before and after this shutdown.

Think for yourself. Don't just accept what your government and your media tell you. There are already studies out that show that the fatality rate is far, far, less than it is reported to be, and that the infection rates are far, far higher than reported. In other words what the media has told us is false, and demonstrably so. And there is evidence that the coronavirus has been around a whole lot longer than thought. An autopsy in California of a person who died on February 9 of this year found coronavirus antibodies in their system. Yet the media and government tells us the first official death from coronavirus happened in Washington state on February 29. The evidence does not equal media reports and government reports.

My wife and I experienced the published symptoms of the coronavirus the first week in January, and so did a large percentage of our county. It seem like the entire county had it, but in reality it was probably 25% to 50% of our population. And we had a lot of people from our area traveling back and forth to China during November and December. And would the hospitals and county health department test? Nope. They denied it existed here and that was their rationale for refusing to test.

There are so many problems with the story as told by the media it isn't funny, but you have to be able to think for yourself rather than just accept their narrative just because they tell it to actually investigate the issue and use critical thinking skills on the subject.

It reminds me of a poster here that I used to butt heads with, a poster who pretended he was Christian, who pretended he was pro-life, who supported Obama. His defense of Obama's vote to allow for the deliberate murder of a child accidentally born alive during a failed abortion, was Obama's excuse - that he (Obama) didn't want to potentially weaken a woman's "right" to murder her unborn child.

In Wisconsin, there are now reports of COVID-19 cases from those who were forced to line up for hours on April 9th because the Republican politicians refused to postpone that State's Primaries in the hope of suppressing the Democratic vote!

Apparently Republican politicians and conservative judges have decided that the American electorate deserves to be punished for exercising its constitutional rights!

Honestly..... as if you care a fig what our people get to eat.

An air-control specialist mate of mine has just joined a huge farming initiative in East Kent UK......... many crops can now be produced with layering, or vertical farming. It seems that we are gearing up for more home grown foods now........ And we are allowing Latvian and other Eastern European folks who specialise in crop picking to return here.

We in the UK, as a fairly well united people, are committed to hold out and persevere with social distancing, isolation and lockdown for as long as our government's medical and science officers ask for this. It doesn't matter what political party rules just now...... its all apolitical.

The look on Dr. Birx's face reveals just how much she looks forward to these daily briefings, forced to stand behind Donald Trump while this "Stable Genius" continues to practice medicine without a licence by prescribing his home remedies for COVID-19!

If this latest "miracle cure" doesn't trigger senior officials in Washington to start searching for their copies of "The 25th Amendment, Section 4," nothing will!

I may just start watching FOXNEWS to see what kind of a positive spin they'll be forced to make from this pronouncement - attempting to justify the unjustifiable and search for signs of intelligent life where none exists!
