1 Corinthians 7:18 Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.

This passage could not be a physical principal. It would not be possible to become uncircumcised physically.

This passage must be alluding to a spiritual principle.

The context of this passage is abiding. If one is called to the Lord as a Jew, then continue as a Jew, don't become uncircumcised and become as a Gentile, without the law and promises. The church of God in this epistle consisted of, in part, the believing remnant or the little flock, the Israel of God (1 Corinthians 1:2). They were in Christ, and were promised the future Davidic kingdom on earth (Daniel 2:44). They believed on the Lord Jesus for salvation to eternal life (John 20:31). Paul was instructing them to remain in their calling and follow the commandments that were given to them by Jesus.

If one is called in the body of Christ as a Gentile, don't become circumcised; there are no commandments to follow the prescribed commandments given to Israel, but rather, follow the revelations, and doctrines given to Paul.

Yikes. You preach so much falseness.

The scripture is about it not mattering if one is circumcised or not. It is about not mattering if one is a Jew or Gentile.

God is not divided. You keep dividing God.
[h=1]Romans 13:8-10 [/h] [h=3]Love Fulfills the Law[/h]
8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. 9 The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,”[a] and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Do you know what love fulfills the law means?

It means if you love your neighbor, you won't commit adultery with his wife or her husband. It means you won't murder them, or steal from them.

If you do any of those things, then you broke the command to love your neighbor!

James speaks of the ROYAL LAW OF LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR, JUST LIKE PAUL DOES..

James 2
8If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right. 9But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers. 10For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. 11For he who said, “You shall not commit adultery,” also said, “You shall not murder.”If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker.

Romans 13:8-10

Love Fulfills the Law

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. 9 The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,”and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”10Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Love is 'not harming your neighbor' that is how we love our neighbors; we do no harm to them. See Romans 13:10.

If you do not harm your neighbor by not murdering your neighbor, it is good and you have obeyed a commandment of do not murder---do not murder, love your neighbor.

If you do not harm your neighbor by committing adultery with your neighbor's wife, then you have obeyed another commandment, and you further show that you love your neighbor.

If you do not harm your neighbor by bearing false witness against them, you have done right and obeyed yet another command of the law and you still are loving your neighbor.

If you break one of the commandments in the law and STEAL from your neighbor, you have HARMED your neighbor, AND NOW YOU ARE GUILTY OF BREAKING THE WHOLE ROYAL LAW OF LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR.

You said we had no commands.

We have commands.

We are not to murder, steal, commit adultery, etc.

Yes, but to not murder etc, fulfills the law, in that do not do these things does not cause harm.....love does not cause harm

What?

You said we had no commands and we do.

I said "If one is called in the body of Christ as a Gentile, don't become circumcised; there are no commandments to follow the prescribed commandments given to Israel, but rather, follow the revelations, and doctrines given to Paul."
The body of Christ was not given the commandments of the law Romans 6:14

I said "If one is called in the body of Christ as a Gentile, don't become circumcised;

Circumcision is a work of the law which are the purification works. NO ONE is to do those works SINCE JESUS died on the cross and circumcises us in the heart with the Holy Spirit.

No Jews or Gentiles are commanded by Jesus to get circumcised to be a child of God anymore.

Circumcision of the flesh was a shadow of Jesus.

Jesus came and there is no more shadow.

there are no commandments to follow the prescribed commandments given to Israel, but rather, follow the revelations, and doctrines given to Paul."

Not being under the law which meant being under the command of those who sit in Moses' seat, the Pharisees and teachers of the law.

HOWEVER, WE ARE TO BE UNDER CHRIST'S LAW---which means that we still have to obey, but Jesus is our enforcer now.

True believers uphold the law. See Romans 3:31.

We are not without a law.

We are no longer under the old law; we are under the new law written on our hearts and minds, see Hebrews 10:16, and 1 Corinthians 9:21.

There was a change to that old law, see Hebrews 7:12.

That changed old law is our new law.

We have a HIGH PRIEST, Jesus Christ.

No longer does anyone have to go through the high priests of the old law.

All those who are saved have to obey the law, the new law, and the new law is in the New Covenant.

The new law is the law of the Spirit, see Romans 8:2, the perfect law; see James 1:25.

It is the law that gives freedom, see James 2:12.

It is the LAW that requires faith, see Romans 3:27.

It is the law of Christ; see 1 Corinthians 9:21, and Galatians 6:2.

We answer to God through Jesus, and he purifies us, he is our High Priest.

It is his commands that we must obey.

The only change in the law was in regard to the priesthood...it was no longer the Levitical priesthood....but the order of Melchisedec

Circumcision was a sign and it showed who was CLEAN and UNCLEAN.

Circumcision was a sign of RIGHTEOUSNESS.

You are going against what is plainly written:

Hebrews 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

Which only applies to those who are under a law.

Christians are not. So clearly, this wasn't written to Christians.
