This. He settled the sin issue. The Father poured his wrath out over sin.

    Titus 1

For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, whose mouths must be stopped

    Ephesians 5

11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret

For many reasons, but one is often overlooked.

He left heaven and took on flesh and blood, after the likeness of Adam. To get back to where he came, heaven, he had to shed his blood. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.

................because God is love. Love compels one to act for the good of the ones loved. In other words, He had to die for us, because He literally couldn't help Himself.

He couldn't "not die," for us. He had to!

    . . . let me get this straight .

. . . god (Jesus) left heaven (the kingdom of god) to become a man .

. . . but couldn't get back into his own home unless he "died" first .

. . . how do you "inherit" what you already own .

. . . and you guys wonder why we don't believe in your religious nonsense .

Why does a guy who doesn't believe in our "nonsense" spend all his time talking about it?

I don't hang out at tooth fairy or Easter bunny websites. So, why are you here?

    . . . "all" my time? . . . hardly.

I don't hang out at tooth fairy or Easter bunny websites.
    . . . is there's a difference?

    So, why are you here?
. . . for the entertaining quality of your shtick.
