Senator Highlights Pelosi’s ‘Absurd’ Coronavirus Bill That Is ‘Unrelated To The Crisis’

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) highlighted “absurd provisions” that are “unrelated to the crisis at hand” that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) added to the coronavirus stimulus bill, which is needed to protect the economy and American families.

“Families and businesses need help now to survive the China virus pandemic,” Cotton tweeted. “But @SpeakerPelosi walked away from negotiations to write her own bill, full of absurd provisions completely unrelated to the crisis at hand.”

Cotton then laid out 12 things that “Speaker Pelosi is demanding while Americans suffer.”

Cotton’s list included:
  1. Corporate pay statistics by race and race statistics for all corporate boards at companies receiving assistance.
  2. Bailing out all current debt of postal service
  3. Required early voting
  4. Required same day voter registration
  5. 10k bailout for student loans
  6. For companies accepting assistance, 1/3 of board members must be chosen by workers
  7. Provisions on official time for union collective bargaining
  8. Full offset of airline emissions by 2025
  9. Greenhouse gas statistics for individual flights
  10. Retirement plans for community newspaper employees
  11. $15 minimum wage at companies receiving assistance
  12. Permanent paid leave at companies receiving assistance
“The Democrats see an opportunity in this crisis,” Cotton concluded. “Not to help the American people, but to hold an emergency relief bill hostage until they get their radical wish list. How long will Arkansans and Americans across the country have to wait?”


So while all the liars are losers are crying about Trump, this tool is the REAL enemy: Pelosi, and all the Democrats too

Dem are NOT the enemy. They are the truth-tellers. The MAJORITY. WE, The People, are those of us who stand in the way of allowing trump to permanently destroy the country.

Good question. Too many Americans have willingly given themselves over to evil, hate and lies and socialism. There is a possibility that America is lost with that many people against their own country. We can only pray for some sort of awakening. It has happened before. My generation has an awesome burden.


Democrats stuff coronavirus bill with identity politics
At a time when America so badly needs to come together, Democrats remain intent on splitting the country into warring tribes.

That is possible. It's more than just two sides though, it is Right vs. Wrong.

The other side are socialists, pro-abortion, pro-sodomy, huge taxes, giving free stuff to illegal aliens, destroying free speech and other rights.

My side is the opposite of all that.

It fell apart in 2008 when the country chose as it's leader an unqualified and inexperienced candidate based on the color of his skin - an affirmative action President who proved, to nobody's surprise, to be incompetent..

...and followed up on that crime by voting in another unqualified and inexperienced candidate from the other direction.

yep, although the choice in 2016 was between 2 unqualified candidates.

Typically, we have required Presidential candidates to have executive experience in government. In the past that has meant former vice presidents or governors.

You have to go back to 1960 to find a deviation from that in a successful candidate. And Kennedy had 14 years experience in Congress and a minor executive role in a wartime military setting.


Ironically, the only candidate on either ticket in 2008 with executive experience was the woman everybody dismissed
