Faith alone is dead. We are taught that through out the Bible. You try to shame the truth away.

Paul is speaking of the ceremonial works. He was speaking to Gentiles who knew they were called unclean and without God because they did not do the ceremonial works.

Peter and James tries to tell you not to misunderstand Paul.

Paul was a Pharisee and knew that people had to obey the ceremonial works for over 1,600 years.

Paul is not telling anyone to be careful not to obey!!!

GT, is baptism a ceremonial work? or is it required for salvation?

Various external washings were for the old testament ceremonial works. Baptism of repentance is for the new testament/covenant.

Jesus gave you the book of Galatians and you never read it. The law is not for Gentiles!

The law is not for you. It never was and it never will be. The law is not for the Jews anymore! The law ceased to be relevant after Christ fulfilled every part of it. You're cutting yourself off from grace.

So "baptism" (as opposed to "baptisms") is necessary for salvation?

Wrong, as usual. The ceremonial works were not written in stone.

2 Corinthians 3:7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
