An observation by Old GM: Both the Wiz and Arthur Brain are loyal 'sidekicks' to Town Heretic. They will watch his back while at the same time have the willingness to take point when they deem it necessary. They are truly TH's 'protectors/followers.' Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course.

You're half right. The Nazis were not right wing as currently defined. They were just as Leftist as Stalinists were; the only substantial difference was their focus on NATIONAL socialism while Stalinism pursued the eventual victory of INTERNATIONAL socialism. That caused them to naturally differ on details of how attain their goals, and also put them into direct competition with one another (I believe Hitler acknowledged that). But it's also why, at the same time, their totalitarian means of pursuing power mirrored one another, as did how people suffered when the did attain power. But the Nazis were not right wing. The goals of Stalin and Hitler were ultimately identical because both are the goals of leftists. Fascism can be rightist, but in the case of Hitler and Mussolini, it was leftist.

I have a strong feeling that TH is outrageously envious of Old GM's 'Rapier Wit.' :think: I cannot say that I blame him.
He's an arse. I haven't addressed him in God knows how long, then I extended an olive branch yesterday with a small joke, and he responded with his usual snotty style. He thinks he's witty but he's just a snotty loser.

Yep. He actually believes he's an extremely witty fella. He's his own number one fan and supporter. It's kind of sad when you think of it. However, I try not to think of it. He may have started out showing real promise, but at some point took the wrong path and ended up a few steps back from where he began and decided to stay there and not move forward.
