"Narcissism" (Greek: Νάρκισσος, Narkissos)
********************************************
- obvious self-focus in interpersonal exchanges

- problems in sustaining satisfying relationships

- lack of psychological awareness

- difficulty with empathy

- problems distinguishing the self from others (personal boundaries)

- hypersensitivity to any insults or imagined insults (criticism psychopathology, narcissistic rage, narcissistic injury)

- vulnerability to shame rather than guilt

- haughty body language

- flattery towards people who admire and affirm them (narcissistic supply)

- detesting those who do not admire them (narcissistic abuse)

- using other people without considering the consequences

- pretending to be more important than they actually are

- bragging (persistently) and exaggerating their achievements

- claiming to be an "expert" at many things

- inability to view the world from the perspective of other people

- denial of remorse and gratitude

Seven deadly sins of narcissism
********************************************
1.Shamelessness: Shame is the feeling that lurks beneath all unhealthy narcissism, and the inability to process shame in healthy ways

2.Magical thinking: Narcissists see themselves as perfect, using distortion and illusion known as magical thinking. They also use projection to "dump" shame onto others

3.Arrogance: A narcissist who is feeling deflated may "reinflate" their sense of self-importance by diminishing, debasing, or degrading somebody else.

4.Envy: A narcissist may secure a sense of superiority in the face of another person's ability by using contempt to minimize the other person or their achievements.

5.Entitlement: Narcissists hold unreasonable expectations of particularly favorable treatment and automatic compliance because they consider themselves special. Failure to comply is considered an attack on their superiority, and the perpetrator is considered an "awkward" or "difficult" person. Defiance of their will is a narcissistic injury that can trigger narcissistic rage.

6.Exploitation:
Can take many forms but always involves the exploitation of others without regard for their feelings or interests. Often the other person is in a subservient position where resistance would be difficult or even impossible. Sometimes the subservience is not so much real as assumed.

7.Bad boundaries: Narcissists do not recognize that they have boundaries and that others are separate and are not extensions of themselves. Others either exist to meet their needs or may as well not exist at all. Those who provide narcissistic supply to the narcissist are treated as if they are part of the narcissist and are expected to live up to those expectations. In the mind of a narcissist, there is no boundary between self and other.

Given the current economy, the results of this election should be a forgone conclusion - the fact that the Republicans are currently on the defensive speaks volumes concerning the public's disenchantment with the "narcissist" in the White House!

Given Trump's personal history, this diagnosis goes a long way in explaining his behaviour - his actions are not based on any political strategy but purely on the premise that he doesn't need to ask God's forgiveness from sin because he will never consciously make mistakes - none that he will admit!

Are you able to see into the depths of Donald J. Trump's mind and Soul? If so, what enables you to have this uncanny ability?

Where everyone else's passion goes when under attack 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks in a year
The Donald" spent 5 years leading the "birther" movement targeting the President's constitutional right to hold office, so why would Trump and his supporters now expect to be exempt from criticism when he assumed office?

The Presidency is absolutely the last occupation that any "narcissist" should seek - given their hypersensitivity and overreaction to being criticised!

Notice that "Grosnick Marowbe" continues to evade addressing the fundamental issue as to how a Christian can support a President, who in his own words, has denied his need to seek God's forgiveness from sin - a pronouncement, according to 1 John 1:10, makes Christ out to be a "liar!"
