He's not worth talking to when it has been written out 100x already. You know, STP, you could go back and do some reading. You are just sitting there like this is a game where people like to see you write Made Up. You get a big kick out of cute clipped speech instead of the work of background discovery. Since that's 99% of what you do, I have no interest in any further time with you.

All the historical reasons, references and conclusions have been written out many times before.

What kind of identity would matter? Drivers' license? If the events of Mt24A and Thess have happened, and the place was destroyed, and 'the wrath of God has come upon them fully' that's that. For the 1000th time, there are three passages validating a delay in the end of the world, which we know was not right after 72AD was it? so what do you need to know for, as you make an industry out of bludgeoning Christ's rebuke not to know when the kingdom of Israel, and as we are to only gain power to preach that his is Lord and Christ? Do you do that?

Lol - where others use the phrase "for the 1000th time" as a figurative, yours is actually the literal - you - "a figure of speech" nut job, if there ever was one :chuckle:

A person simply has to distinguish between things about 1st century Judea and things about the final judgement of the world, expected right after the other.

Did you check the OP? Gosh, there might be a clue there. In fact, it might 3-part.

Do you ever read the earlier threads and have something other than the auto-reaction you usually have--commentaries are sin, history is sin, Josephus is sin...

Don't forget the page of the Rev says it is at hand, about to happen...

don't forget that 'gea' often just means the land of Israel, ie, the whole country of Israel followed the guy.

anyone familiar with the basics of the decimation of Israel in that generation would not be concerned with only 'identifying' the guy. The point is Dan 9:27 took place.

As usual, I maintain that the end of the world was expected right after it, but was delayed. Because we all have to account for two things: the numerous immediate expectations in 'this generation' and the fact that we are here today.

Paul's directions about marriage and the end of the world are not in I Cor 10.

You may need to check your translating as 'ta tely ton aiones' is not generally rendered as the ends (plural) but the one end of the plural (preceding) ages. There are too many other examples for the translators to go your route.
