Prager is one of the number one setters up of straw men on the right . The "left" he sets up as such a horrible, evil organization , even though these people, mostly university professors, are not even liberals , just left-wing extremist fascists . They make up only an infinitesimally tiny fraction of the U.S. population and have absolutely no political power .
But there IS an appalling amount of racism in America still , and something needs to be done about it . Too many unarmed blacks have been killed by white police officers in recent years , and our police departments are doing a terrible job of policing the police .
To point this out doesn't mean you "hate " cops and want to see them murdered by criminals , but too many on the right equate outrage over the indiscriminate killing of unarmed blacks with hatred of the police . Yes, black lives do matter . If you're white you are not nearly as at risk of being killed by white police as if you are black .
Also, to equate being liberal with being a communist is idiotic . Liberals are not communists and communists are not liberals . But conservatives all over America are paranoid about communism coming to America because of the Democratic party , which is moronic . There is nothing even remotely communist about the social and economic policies of the Democratic party .
Yet many right-wing extremists in America are trying to rehabilitate the infamous 1950s senator Joe McCarthy and praising him for being such a courageous "anticommunist " even though he never uncovered a single actual communist in the U.S. government or anywhere else and ruined the lives of so many innocent people with his red-baiting .
