Why God Cannot Decree Someones Salvation

The original word evangel/evangelism did not mean "good news". Gospel and good news are both English lies that have caused a great deal of confusion. The word gospel does not convey the original meaning.

I think that the word "Gospel" conveys the meaning perfectly. In the Greek it means "A good message" what better message is there than the Gospel?

Paul said, "The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes" Romans 1:16. Maybe you don't believe the Gospel.

You haven't experienced the power of the evangelism. It's not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of fact. The original term does not translate or transliterate as Gospel, but it does transliterate as evangelism. There was not another language anywhere in the entire world that supplied the equivalent word. So other European translators transliterated.

The Greek word "Gospel". Strongs Concordance, word #G2097, means Good News or Glad tidings.

That would make you the runt of the litter.

Give the scripture that says we cannot believe God after we are taught about Him.

Give the scripture that says God saves us in our state of unbelief.

Do it or admit that you do not have beliefs from God.

You say we cannot believe God until we are saved.

That is not what God says.

Faith is from God, from reading His powerful message, the Bible, the New Testament. It has the powerful message that saves. We do not get faith supernaturally, as many teach, but we get faith in a very human way, from reading the supernatural message!

Acts 11:14 He will bring you a message through which you and all your household will be saved.'

2 Peter 1:3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

WE MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD TO HAVE FAITH.

Where does our faith come from? Our faith comes from HEARING the word, see Romans 10:17. From hearing the word and being TAUGHT, Colossians 1:5, 7. From continuing in what we have been CONVINCED of, see 2 Timothy 3:14, and being PERSUADED, 2 Corinthians 5:11. In Acts 26:17 Jesus tells Paul he is sending him to the Jews and Gentiles to OPEN THEIR EYES and turn them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. How do you think Paul is going to open the eyes of the Jews and the Gentiles? Remember, faith comes from hearing the word, and Jesus sent Paul to preach the gospel. 1 Corinthians 1:18 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel–not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.

Paul is going to open their eyes by preaching to them.

Read what Paul says in Romans 16:25-27. Now to him who is able to ESTABLISH YOU BY MY GOSPEL AND THE PROCLAMATION OF JESUS CHRIST, according to the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, but now revealed and MADE KNOWN THROUGH THE PROPHETIC WRITINGS by the command of the eternal God, SO THAT ALL NATIONS MIGHT BELIEVE AND OBEY HIM–to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.

Paul says that God made the prophetic writings known so that all nations might believe and obey. So again, the word of God tells us that faith comes from hearing. Here are more scriptures that explain how we have to HEAR the message that saves: Acts 8:31: 10:14; 11:14; 16:31; John 9:36; Ephesians 1:13; 4:21; Titus 1:3; Colossians 1:5; 1:23.

Universal Salvation is condemned also by Rom 5:10, because those Christ didn't die for are already condemned Jn 3:18, and they shall not see life in the future Jn 3:36. So the Universalist has a insurmountable hurdle with the fact that some men are under Gods Wrath and Condemned already, which can't be the case with people Christ died for.

Question for you: under Calvinism, when do the elect believe?

If they are not born believing, doesn't John 3:18 tell you that the elect are condemned up until the point that they believe?

Elect sinners believe at different times, but when they are unbelievers hating God, even when they are being His enemies, they are still reconciled to God by Christ death for them Rom 5:10 So even when they are in enmity against God and opposing Him, they are not condemned, but reconciled to God by Christ death. So Jn 3:18 can't apply to the Elect Christ died for. That's why universalism is condemned and heresy.

That is a doctrine from Hell.

That scripture does not mean what you think it means.

Listen carefully, if God was saving you without your wanting, then what does it matter how gentle I speak to you? The scripture is about someone preaching the truth to you gently so that you do not get defensive and then not repent to God.

2 Timothy 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

What do you think, "if God peradventure will grant," means?
