Different names, different content, different good news. :idunno:

Two aspects of the same Person.

You are thrown off by two different labels.

The gospel of God (God's good news) is the gospel (good news) of (concerning His Son) Christ.

His resurrection from the dead proves both that He is David's heir and that the sin dead is paid in full.

Romans 1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

The Cross for sin as to Israel also...

Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Gospel of God- who Christ is
Gospel of Christ- what Christ did

To make it worse, Jerry is now preaching yet another gospel there, one from right after Damascus and one after years in Arabia, proof once again that the 'plain meaning' of Paul speaking of one gospel is that there is no 'plain meaning' if it violates 2P2P.

Explain the "plain meaning," of the gospel Judas preached. Do be a dear. Splain it to us, Ricky.

That is one gospel: two aspects.

Spin. Judas preached 1 Cor. 15:1-4 KJV? What "aspect" did he preach? Wait.....Let's back up. Are you another one of the clueless ones, who have joined the droids that do not know what the word "gospel" means? Unpack it for us.

Like the artificial distinction obvious in the Luke 9:6 KJV gospel?

You do realize that is way before Romans 1; right.

In short, an aspect of the first half of the two-fold aspect that is the gospel of Christ.

And Judas says "hello, Eddie..."

Hi 1P and the Greek ARTICLE always points to a SPECIFIC thing , and in Gal it points to two DIFFERENT Circumcisions !!

The Un-circumcision , OR THE MYSTERY , Rom 16:25 !!

Or to THE CIRCUMCISION , the Kingdom of Heaven that Jesus preaxhed in Matt 10:7 !!

So , if you believe in a 1P 1P , where do you go when you DIE ??

You keep AVOIDING that question !!

And avoid what the 1P 1P program is called ??

Or how a person is saved under the 1P 1P NAMELESS GOSPEL , so what is it called !!

Not relevant to your argument. I, STP, others, have insisted that everyone needs to pay attention to the details of the book-a book of details. STP pointed out, rightly so, that "the gospel of God," is not equivalent to "the gospel of Christ." You brush it aside, dismiss it, with "artificial distinction.. the two-fold aspect that is the gospel of Christ."

No-made up. The content of faith, required to believed, in Matthew-John, prior to the dbr, was not the gospel of Christ-it was the gospel of God:

Hi and he , IP said he is a Greek scholar and can not see that the Greek ARTICLES are in Gal 2:7 . so why did you take over for him and explain how Paul was saved in Acts 9:6 OR tell us how you were saved in 1P 1P or in a 2P 2P GOSPEL ??

The change you assert took place in Acts 13 is not what it appears on its' surface, bro.

Paul already had a ministry among the Gentiles before Acts 13.

Acts 13 is only a making public of the fact of his having been separated unto the gospel of Christ.

Acts 9:30 Which when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus. 9:31 Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

He went where?

Galatians 1:20 Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not. 1:21 Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia; 1:22 And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ: 1:23 But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.

Accomplished what while in the regions of Syria and Tarsus in Cilicia?

Acts 15:22 Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren: 15:23 And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia: 15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

15:40 And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God. 15:41 And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.

He was already preaching his gospel among the Gentiles by the time of Acts 13.

Hence, why Barnabas was sent to go and fetch him in the following...

Acts 11:20 And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the LORD Jesus. 11:21 And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord. 11:22 Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch. 11:23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord. 11:24 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord. 11:25 Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul: 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

Indeed, saint john.

If we compare Acts and Thessalonians we see this clearly.

1 Thess 2
2 But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.

1 Thess 3
1 Wherefore when we could no longer forbear, we thought it good to be left at Athens alone;

2 And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellowlabourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith:

So, Paul preached to them the gospel of God, but then sent Timothy back to establish them in the gospel of Christ. So, what was the gospel of God?

Acts 17
17 Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews:

2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,

3 Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.

Does this match Paul's description?

Romans 1
1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,

2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)

3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

Yep.

So, which gospel establishes us?

Romans 16
25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

Romans 1
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

1 Thessalonians

3:2 And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellowlabourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith:

Towards what intent?

Toward their ending up at the result of said establishing.

Toward their being stablished in their faith such...

3:3 That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.

Stablished is the result of establishing or more fully well rounding out a person in what they already have.

The intent of establishing them in their faith is the issue of their ending up solidly well rounded in it such that their ending up well grounded in it allows them to handle what ever comes their way.

It is the issue of, okay, now that you're in Christ, here's what's next so that you can handle what ever comes your way.

Colossians 2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 2:7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

2 Thessalonians 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 2:14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. 2:16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, 2:17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

James 5:8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

1 Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Romans 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

And so on...
