Please name ten crimes for which the death penalty is inappropriate, and why.

1)Vandalism

2)Theft

3)Public intoxication

4)Reckless Driving

5)Tax Evasion

6)Disorderly Conduct

7)Criminal mischief

8)Forgery

9)Fraud

10)Possession of drugs without intent to sell

There are a lot of others that don't deserve the death penalty, in fact most crimes do not. Certain serious crimes have such detrimental effect on society or other people, such as murder, for example, that they are appropriately punished by death.

How does one know if an apology is sincere?

Good question

Well, it's more about repentance than the apology itself.

repent: to feel sorrow, regret, or contrition for

If someone made the effort to approach you & then apologize, don't you think they would first have to feel some amount of sorrow or regret?

Not necessarily. They could be setting you up, waiting for you to drop your guard...

Some folks are pretty good at faking sincerity...
