Too close to call, though if they put Romo under center I'd say you're mistaken. As it is I like Dallas by 1. But part of me wonders how long you can rely on the breaks. Rodgers needed a few to get it going, then looked great in the 2nd half. And the G-men wrs really dropped the ball to help Green Bay advance. :eek:

According to a report out of the NFL Network Jordy Nelson has at least two fractured ribs. It is very, very doubtful that he will play Sunday. This is a huge blow to Green Bay.

You better hope he doesn't play.

This next stat should worry you:

No rookie QB has ever led a team to a Super Bowl.

* Ben Roethlisberger and Joe Flacco made it to Conference Championship Games as starting rookies in 2004 and 2008 respectively (and both lost). That's the deepest a rookie QB has ever gone in the playoffs.

The NFL and professional football did not start with the Super Bowl. Which doesnt even mean what it meant when it started.

Heaven forbid!

No rookie Quarterback has ever had a Passer Rating as high as Dak Prescott in the history of the NFL, and that includes Big Ben.

In fact, this year Prescott's passer rating is even higher than that of the veteran Big Ben.

This year the only two quarterbacks with a rating higher than Prescott are Matt Ryan and Tom Brady. Yes, Prescott's rating is even higher than that of Aaron Rodgers.

So the least on my worries is the idea that just because Dak Prescott is a rookie that he will not be able to perform at a high level, just as he has the entire season!

It took Pittsburgh 73 years to win five Championships.

It only took Dallas 36 years to win five Championships.

So it took the Steelers twice as long to win those Championships as it did Dallas.

And you are so proud that the Steelers have one more Championship than has Dallas. But you fail to talk about how many more Championships held by Green Bay compared to the lowly Steelers.

Of course you do not want anyone to know those facts!

From the time when the Steelers came into existence until now the Packers have won TEN Champoinships while the lowly Steelers have won only SIX.

Y.A. Tittle probably had the best season for a rookie QB before the Super Bowl era.

Tittle was a rookie in 1948. He threw for 16 TD's with only 9 picks, but the Colts finished 7-7 that year.

Prescott is having an amazing year, but the fact remains.....no rookie QB has ever led his team to a Super Bowl.

You never mention that the last time the Boys played the Steelers in a Super Bowl the Boys won. By winning that game the Boys were the first team to win the Super Bowl in three out of four years.

I'll take winning 2 of 3 Super Bowls over the Cowboys any day of the week vs. the Cowboys winning the most recent one of the three.

Not to mention the fact that the Cowboys have won only 2 playoff games in the last 20 years, while the Steelers have gone to the Super Bowl 3 times, won 2 Super Bowls, and been to the AFC Championship Game 6 times during those 20 years.

Jerry.....you need to stop worrying about the Steelers, and worry about Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.

The Steelers would have to lose this weeks playoff game, and the Cowboys would have to win the Super Bowl, for the Cowboys to be on equal footing with the Steelers.

Even if that scenario played out, the Steelers would still hold the edge because they beat the Cowboys in 2 of 3 Super Bowls.

Most Conference Championship Games played:

15 - Steelers & 49'ers
14 - Cowboys
12 - Patriots
11 - Raiders
10 - Broncos

As we see above, the Steelers have been to more Conference Championship Games than the Cowboys.

As stated earlier, the Steelers would have to lose this week, and the Cowboys would have to win the Super Bowl, for the Cowboys to even think about being compared to the Steelers.

Just remember that the last time we played Green Bay it was THIS YEAR and we beat them by 14 points and we beat them at their own stadium. Besides that, we beat them without our best receiver, Dez Bryant. They had their best receiver on the field.

This time we will play in Dallas and we will have our best receiver on the field. They will probably not have their best receiver on the field.

In the game in Green Bay we ran for 191 yards. The Packers will not be able to shut down the rushing attack of the Boys so the offense will remain balanced throughout the game.

On the other hand, the boys have the number one rushing defense in the NFL. The Boys will shut down the running game of the Packers and make them one dimensional and this week the Boy's best cornerback returns.

Besides that, the Boys will be lead by Dak Prescott, who had a higher passer rating than did Rodgers.

All I know, is that I wouldn't want to face a former Super Bowl MVP, red hot - Aaron Rodgers (with a seven game winning streak), with a rookie QB.

But good luck to you and your Cowboys, maybe the Cowboys will make it to their first Conference Championship Game in 21 years.
