ECT A clear explanation of the Trinity

God has chosen to reveal Himself to us as being
a Triune Godhead of 3 Persons or 3 Manifestations.
He has revealed Himself as being One God in 3 Persons.
What is not so clear is exactly WHY He chose to do this.
All Scriptures are from the NKJV.

Let us begin with Father God and the Word (Jesus Christ)
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
(Father) God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1)
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14)
“Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God.
Amen.” (Romans 9:5)
Note: “Christ” is the Greek word for the Hebrew word “Messiah”

Now let us introduce the Holy Spirit
The archangel Gabriel instructed the virgin Mary …
“… you shall call His name JESUS. He will be great, and
will be called the Son of the Highest … the Holy Spirit (God)
will come upon you … therefore, also, that Holy One who
is to be born will be called the Son of God” (Luke 1:31-35)
“Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows:
When His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph,
before they came together (she was a virgin) she was
found to be with child of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 1:18)

So, we see that Joseph was not Jesus’ father,
but the Holy Spirit (God) was His father.
This explains why the Bible can say that God had a “Son”.
The Word from heaven became God’s “Son” on earth.

More details about the Second Person of the Triune Godhead
“For a Child is born to us, a Son is given to us …
And He will be called: … Mighty God …” (Isaiah 9:6)
“… and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated,
‘God with us’.” (Matthew 1:23)
– so said an angel of the Lord
“The Father and I are one.” (John 10:30) – so said Jesus
Jesus was (and is) the Creator and the Sustainer of all things:
“God who created all things through Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 3:9)
“Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things” (1 Corinthians 8:6)
“sustains all by the mighty power of His command” (Hebrews 1:3)
“it is His power that holds everything together” (Colossians 1:17)
And Jesus is the Giver of eternal life:
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
And I give them eternal life” (John 10:27)
Truly, Jesus is everything, including … the bread of life – the light of the world
– I AM (the God of Exodus 3:14) – the door (to salvation) – the good shepherd
– the resurrection and the life – the way, the truth, and the life (John 6:35,
John 8:12, John 8:24/58, John 10:9, John 10:11, John 11:25, John 14:6).

More details about the Third Person of the Triune Godhead
“If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray to the Father,
and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, etc.),
that He may abide with you forever — the Spirit of truth, whom the
world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him;
but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.” (John 14:15-18)
– “another” is the Greek word “allos” (meaning “another of the same kind”)
“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him,
and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” (John 14:23)
– Father God and Jesus promise to indwell the true believer as the Holy Spirit.
Many NT verses teach that believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit.
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name,
He will teach you all things …” (John 14:26)
One of the more famous passages is …
“Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit
… You have not lied to men but to God.” (Acts 4:3-4)

There are about 30 NT verses in which all 3 Persons of the Trinity are mentioned
… as if They are indeed equal.

There is a lot more, but this should suffice to prove …
the Holy Bible reveals to us that God wishes to reveal Himself
as being one God in 3 Persons (or Manifestations).

v1Co 15:21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
1Co 15:23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming.
1Co 15:24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.
1Co 15:25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet.
1Co 15:26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
1Co 15:27 For "HE HAS PUT ALL THINGS UNDER HIS FEET." But when He says "all things are put under Him," it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted.
1Co 15:28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

Then why does Jesus have a GOD? :readthis:

Mat 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Joh 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

Jesus has a GOD!

You cannot claim one to be God and then acknowledge that they have a GOD!

This is why you fail!

This is why you fail!
There are some deeper things going on here!
Since Jesus is walking around as a Man,
He considered Himself to be mucho less than the Father.
Then, there's the humility issue, which He desires to teach us.
And on and on ... wish to hear more?

Where was the holy spirit while Jesus was human?
Here, the Holy Spirit is descending and lighting upon the Son who in the Jordan River while the Father speaks from heaven.

Matthew 3:16-17 KJV
(16) And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
(17) And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

The Holy Spirit can live in many people at the same time and also come upon many people at the same time.

In the Old Testament, when the Holy Spirit came upon someone is was to give them power.

In the New Testament the same thing.

Jesus's Spirit is the Holy Spirit, and at Jesus' baptism he received power from the Holy Spirit before he started his earthly ministry.

Same thing with the apostles. The apostles already had the Holy Spirit in them, but then received the Holy Spirit with power to start their earthly ministry.

There are many scriptures that say Jesus is the Holy Spirit.

Since both John and Jesus had the holy spirit from birth we know the holy spirit is not a person. The holy spirit was the presence of the Father, the same as with Jesus' conception.

Or, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are doing three different things because they are persons doing something different than the other two are doing.

Say what? Where was the holy spirit at Jesus' baptism? Where was the Father? Where was Jesus?

What does convergence mean?

Since you reject what the Scriptures clearly say,
IMO you are not a believer and are not a Christian.

Jesus said He and the Father are one (in complete unity of purpose, etc.)
Jesus prayed to Father God.
Jesus said that He and Father God both would come to live with believers.
etc.

It is God's will that we see Them as 3 Persons having different functions.
Unless the NT has been altered ...
in which case we cannot trust anything therein, and then
we are left with only the Holy Spirit to reveal spiritual truth to us.
