It's the usual slippery slope fallacy that flies in the face of both reality and evidence. Fact of the matter is that there's more protection of children nowadays than there was when homosexuals were still being locked up.

There is a difference. People accept things that they don't approve of all the time.

Think of a parent who doesn't approve of his child's sexual orientation, but accepts it because they love them anyway.

Reading through the last page, it appears I wasn't the only one to use this analogy
