Honor God's Son or Perish

Lazy afternoon

You describe repentance and faith, as expression of love towards God, which I have no argument against.

However, I think this is our Christian duty to perform as believers, rather than a method to curry God's favor.

You mean like a master- slave relationship?

A person can receive Christ in a way that leads to Salvation only after they have been given a New Nature / New Birth,
because the natural man cannot discern Spiritual Things.

1 Cor. 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

John 6:63
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

John 3:27
John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

The Bible plainly teaches that... "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (which is the Gospel) Romans 10:17.

You are a counterfeit because you don't believe the Gospel, if you did you would not be a Calvinist.

Faith is a Fruit of being Of God; Born of Spirit Gal. 5:22: The only kind of Faith that pleases God Rom. 8:8.,

Only once a person is quickened by the Spirit, Born of God, is he made able to hear God's Words which are spiritual.

So without God-given Faith in New Birth, the Words of God shall remain hidden to them which are lost 2 Cor. 4:3. The natural man can only hear physically or audibly [with the appendages on either side of his head], that's why he cannot receive spiritual truths.

1 Cor. 2:14

John 8:43, 47
43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

"Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his."

You have yet to answer the question.

If God has already reconciled us and the world unto himself by Jesus Christ 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19, then why would any one need to be predestinated?

And then there is the problem of the 8,000 Jews that heard the Gospel on the day of Pentecost, some of which participated in the crucifixion of Christ and were saved, Acts 2:41, Acts 4:4, Acts 2:36.

You apparently believe that there is something terribly wrong with the Bible.

It was God's Will that only those Chosen of the Father In Union with Christ were predestined to the adoption of Children, to obtain an Eternal inheritance Eph. 1:4-11: God and His Sons/Children!

1 John 3:1-2
1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Praise the Lord!

Those who hear the Gospel are born of God, Jesus plainly says that he that is of God hearerh God's words Jn 8:47!

What about the 8,000 Jews that heard the Gospel and believed? some of who had participated in the crucifixion of Christ, Acts 2:36.

You are not able to answer questions, because you don't have the truth.

They heard because they were of God Jn 8:47!

Your false God does not save, Rejection of the Gospel is a rejection of Christ, you are doomed.

So, those that crucified Christ were God's people?

Some of them were, in fact Christ prayed for their forgiveness here Lk 23:34
Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

On the contrary, what I posted is the Gospel of the Grace of God 2 Tim. 1:9.

But you are prevented from believing it 2 Cor 4:3-4!

2 Timothy 1:9 is not the Gospel. You don't know what the Gospel is, if you did you would not believe Calvinism.

The Gospel is that work that Jesus did in our name and on our behalf that justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5 and reconciles us and the world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19. No predestination needed. Jesus has victoriously defeated sin, death and the devil and is Lord, Acts 2:36. We are now complete in Christ, Colossians 2:10. No predestination needed.
