He who rejects Me and does not receive My words has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. (John 12:48 NKJV)

Hi , and just when is the " LAST DAY " going to happen ??

ZacharyB; Count the number of "IF"s in the NT. It's all conditional ... as are all covenants.[/QUOTE said:

After the thousand year reign of Christ.

But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. (Revelation 20:5 NKJV)

The Greek word 'thousand' is an unknown unless qualified with an exact number such as one, two, three etc:

chilioi
Plural of uncertain affinity;

The dead were raised in 70 AD, still in the generation of the disciples.

God can do anything He wants to, such as:
unsealing someone, retracting a gift, removing His grace, etc.

God's grace means His unmerited favor.
Just another reason why He wouldn't mind removing it.

Hi and just where has God ever UNSEALED anyone in the Dispensation of the Grace of God ?

It is just the Opposite as Eph 1:13 was written by the Holy Spiriti , don't you see !!

The Greek word for " AFTER THAT YOU BELIEVED " is a vweb in the AORIST TENSE or in English the PAST TENSE and just happens ONE TIME !!

SEALED / SPHRAGIZO " and also in the AORIST TENSE or the Past Tense of believing only once !!

Get the right information !!Shimei::Shimei:

A reply to me re: salvation is a life-long process ... from someone elsewhere ...

And it is a life long process as we're being saved. No one is truly saved till the end
as long as satan is alive and ruler of this world, anyone can fall away.

This is true

IMO a fair definition describing differences between called, chosen, and "in Christ" would be those where the seed found good ground (in the parable of the sower and the seed) who then brought forth 30,60 or 100 fold fruit

30 would be the called who never move beyond an outer court experience while 60 would be those who have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit but because they fell short somewhere they did not get the 100 fold "tabernacle of God" experience available to all

Also and another "my $.02" for personal reference I note those as "Christ in them the hope of glory" as a light that shines out of a dark place unlike those who are "in Christ" AKA Christ formed in them who has no darkness because they have overcome both death and sin

I like your analogy ... Thanks.

God promised He wouldn't. We are saved and sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise. A promise from God. God does not break His promises, you are claiming He does.

Ephesians 1:13 KJV -

It is possible for believers to break their promises--

Jas 4:1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
Jas 4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
Jas 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
Jas 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Jas 4:5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
Jas 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
Jas 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Jas 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Jas 4:9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
Jas 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

2Pe 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
2Pe 2:21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
2Pe 2:22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Christ was married to Israel. He divorced her and scattered Judah to the four winds. The point? God does not want an unfaithful wife for his Son. It won't happen.

An enormous percentage of members in American churches are habitually sinning!

51%(?) of the pastors who partook of a survey admitted to being hooked on porno!

Unless all of these church people repent they will never see heaven (Ref: the NT).

Many, many of the above were CALLED at one time and received the Holy Spirit.

I would not cross the street for a probationary salvation....I know I would fail.

The deal was that God would do it all, He would begin the good work in me AND carry it through to completion unto the day of Christ....there ARE no holes to fall through there.

Matthew 22:14 • “For many are called, but few are chosen.

In Canada , many are Cold and a few are Frozen.:)
--------------------------------------------------------------

The scriptures say that we must work the works of Christ.

But what are these ?

Christ says that we must DENY ourselves and Overcome our Temptations.

WHY ?

Because Satan did not. And so that we, who are considered little Reprobate Devils
must PURIFY our minds with the help of the MIND OF CHRIST
to be approved as ready to enter the Kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 2:16 For we have the mind of Christ, the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct us.

Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh (myself).

... there ARE no holes to fall through there.
Seems you refuse to see any of the holes, such as one of my favorites ...

"Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey,
you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether
(slaves) of sin leading to (eternal) death, or
(slaves) of obedience leading to righteousness?
... so now present your members as slaves of
righteousness for (leading to) holiness." (Romans 6:16-19)
