Do you know God's love?

Is this a cetainty in your heart, in your soul, in your mind? Is His love in you? Has His love healed your heart, changed your heart; is His love pouring out of you into the world?

"So we have come to know and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love, abides in God, and God abides in him." 1 John 4:16

Father I pray that anyone who can not answer yes, desires to know your love and to be moved by it and healed by it and filled with it; and it pours out into the world through them. Father I know if they desire you and your love you will pour into them with your Spirit. Thank you Father, thank you Jesus, thank you for you loving Spirit! For your Glory! In Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Jesus explains God's love in His word.

Reading it, is different than experiencing His love, experiencing Him.

Experiencing His love once is different than abiding in His love, abiding in Him.

Us loving like Him depends on us depending on His love, knowing His love, living in His love, living in Him.

Yep. Reading about God's love is definitely not the same as having His love shed abroad on our heart by the Holy Spirit. There is a lot of counterfeit love out there now-a-day, and many claim what they know not of.

The love God puts in our heart is Jesus himself.
God gives us the Holy Spirit after we obey, see Acts 5:32.
Those who obey Jesus' teachings are the ones that Jesus makes his home with, see John 14:23.

The love of God inside of someone, i.e. the Holy Spirit is recognizable.

The Holy Spirit will be recognized how we are true to Jesus.

It is all about how we are faithful to Jesus.

Lip service will not make it.

We cannot mock God.

How much obedience? Is it a moment? A lifetime?

In Acts 10 Peter preached the good news of Jesus and the Holy Spirit fell on the Gentiles for the first time recorded anyway.

In a moment the Holy Spirit can convince the heart to turn away from sin, to understand the need of Jesus blood to wash the stains away, to be moved by His love to want to love because of the love God has shown them.

"We love because He first loved us." 1 John 4:19

If you appreciate His word, you will experience it.

You cannot experience it unless you follow His word.

It is that simple.

So you are moved by His love through His word. Good.
"In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Seeing Him through the Word, experiencing His love through the Word is most excellent. Sadly some miss Him and His love and read the Bible all day long.

I think the cross is much more about how much God loves us and the love we demonstrate is the love we get from Him.

That is for Jesus to decide, for Jesus will save you when he chooses to save you. Acts 15:8; in addition, read the parable of the Sower.

Is it a moment? A lifetime?

You have to never give up, give out, or give in, even if it takes a lifetime.

Never give up searching for God's Truth, no matter how long it takes

God first loved us is about "us" in general.

God does NOT even know you personally unless you obey Him.

Jesus reveals himself to those who obey his teachings (John 14:21).

2 John 1:6 And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands.

1 Corinthians 8:3 But whoever loves God is known by God

Did you read that? Obeying God is loving God. Obeying God is loving God and that is how we are known by God, and that is how we know God.

Being saved is about a person relationship with Jesus Christ

If you do not obey Jesus, then you have no relationship.

You preach we obey God if we love Him. I agree. I preach we love and obey Him because we know His love. All love comes from Him.

Did Jesus remove the shame of your sin? If yes; He loved you first.
