Apparently the family is suing Target for failing to keep the daughter from getting stabbed (how Target was supposed to do that, I dunno). But if this version is true, Target may be justified in countersuing just to get the "hero" named as a defendent IF his grabbing a bat and chasing the crazy guy provoked the stabbing.
