According to Jesus himself, to trust the teachings of the one is to trust the teachings of the other (Lk. 10:16; 1 Tim. 3:15). To follow the Head (Jesus) is likewise to follow the Body (Church).

Was it this creeps church?
Leo's unchastity - implying or asserting homosexual sexual activity. Sexual allusions appear in works by two contemporary historians - Francesco Guicciardini and Paolo Giovio. Zimmerman notes Giovio's "disapproval of the pope's familiar banter with his chamberlains - handsome young men from noble families - and the advantage he was said to take of them.

Was it this pope?
according to Stefano Infessura, Sixtus was a "lover of boys and sodomites" - awarding benefices and bishoprics in return for sexual favours, and nominating a number of young men as cardinals, some of whom were celebrated for their good looks.

Observe, the deception, from the Roman Catholic Organization stooge/shill, who is biblically illiterate, and would not know the difference between the book of Joel, and Billy Joel, just spamming/copying from "Catholic Answers"-he cites 1 Tim. 3:15 KJV, as his "proof" that we are to follow the church, since it is the source of truth.

No, shill, the passage states that the church, which consists of, yes, fallible members of the body of Christ, is "the pillar and ground of the truth." What does a pillar do? Support. That is Paul's point, i.e., the church, me/others in the boc, supports the already established objective truth, and that truth is the scripture, which is "true from the beginning"(Psalms 119:160 KJV).

I know, I know....Answered here....And here.....That is your "man made" assertion, not the historic Church's..............

Take a seat, shill. You bore us-standard fare/spam/Roman propaganda/satanism.

The Catholic Church certainly doesn't teach that Popes can't or don't commit personal sins, even occasionally sins of a serious nature. For example, the first Pope, St. Peter, repeatedly and publicly denied Jesus Christ, and abandoned him to a criminal's execution. However, he was Christ's own appointed man to guide and teach the faithful in Christ's own name and by his very authority (Mt. 16:18-19; 28:18-20; Lk. 10:16; Ac. 15:2; 16:4; 1 Tim. 3:15).

So you merely stated the obvious fact that "popes can sin," which no Catholic here denies. Congratulations.

I trust His church
-and
-not those who hate it
Trusting a church is not salvation! Salvation is trusting Him after hearing and believing the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation!

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Ephesians 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

-there is a lot of confusion
-so who or what do you trust?
-do you trust the man or the building?
-four years ago we moved from one state to another
-took our money out of one building and put it in another
-the person who took our money is long gone
-the building is still there
-our money is still there
-but we have to deal with a different person
-men move on but the building stays
-the church is a building

Perhaps there is an analogy of the reformation there somewhere, if you think rather of the people being the church.
