It might be a good idea for Meshak to rent one of those billboards off the
freeway where she lives? It could say something like this:

"I lost my best friend, pet, soulmate, companion, and hat recently. I'm
putting up a reward of $5.56 to anyone who finds and returns it. It has
great personal value to me and a myriad of other hat lovers all over the
globe. P.S. If you should come across it and not return it to me, I will
say; Blessings, have a nice day, you're now on ignore. Main streamers
and military personnel will not receive a reward if they should find and
return it. They know why!!"

I think it was about $30.00.

But it has been worn so I don't think it has selling value. It values only to me. It had one tiny stain too. I was trying to find the way to erase the stain.

Since it was worn by you personally, the price could go up
extraordinarily high. I'm thinking triple digits or more. How
large is that stain? What color is it? Can it be run through
a car wash? Perhaps, you ought to try and clean it before
someone finds it and returns it to you?

Did any moths get to it? Is it water proof? Has it been kept in a glass
enclosure? Did you have it appraised before you lost it? Does it come
with a certificate of authenticity?

I'm sorry to hear you lost your hat.

Sure, life goes on, and things could be worse, but sometimes possessions can hold a lot of personal meaning and memories and it can be sad to lose them.

I liked your hat. It had a lot of personality.

Who knows, maybe it will turn up. I hope you try putting up a "lost hat" sign where it disappeared, maybe someone will return it.

I think it is a good idea. I will do it. Thank you:)

Someone took my wallet a long time ago and kept the wallet and sent the
money back? They sent a note along with it that said: "I didn't really need
the money but, I sure like your wallet, so I'm keeping it!" I found that especially
peculiar?

One suggestion, GM-revision:

"I'm putting up a reward of $6.66"

Did it have an "Easy-Bake-Oven" in one of its compartments?

Oh, you're a real riot, fella!

I try. All us Whalen's take after my mom, who was humorous, and did not allow "hat swapping." Why don't you head on down to your local hotel, and swap the "Men's"/"Women's" "rest" room signs? Wouldn't that be fun, fella?

How about this hat for mesh-hack?:

That fella looks a lot like Mr. Gossage, from Raliegh.
