Search function? Finding post

I signed up on the site several months ago and made a few post.
but haven't really been back much because the search button tells me i have 'no privileges for that page' and so i can't find topics i'm interested in and often i can't even find my own old post.

Is there a trial period or something before you can search the site? or is there something wrong with my login?

I'd like to be able see what folks think on various issues without having to scroll through every thread topic and every post in every category to find them.

I tried it (again, done that before to) this is the message i get.

You need to be a member for seven days and have made 25 posts (you've made 15) to get all the functionality of a registered plus member. A subscriber has more options available depending on the subscription level.

the 25 post thing explains it i guess.
ok, but it's kinda hard for me to post though if i can't find subjects i'm into though.

today i came by to find out about "torture".
what's the sense of the matter here scripturally, spiritually, politically.

personally i'm against it and like abortion i can't understand any christian supporting the practice.
I can find no scriptural support for it.
but i rarely hear believers with me on this issue.

just wondering if there's been any talk of it here.
I suspect there is but maybe not.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

A few years ago we discovered that spam-bots were using our search feature over and over and slowing the performance of our site.

We had to therefore limit new users to prevent that.
