The same cultural forces that gave the Jews a tradition of intellectual achievement worked to produce a culture in American blacks that suppressed such achievements.

While a Jewish man was rewarded for being intellectually astute, an intelligent black man was, at one time, in danger for nothing more than letting whites know he was intelligent. It's a remarkable testimony to human ability that so many American blacks have overcome culture and racism to achieve high goals.

The interesting thing is that while selective forces may have made Jewish people more genetically inclined to be intelligent, the opposite selection probably doesn't work.

In the past in America, intelligent black men were singled out for elimination. That doesn't mean that black men were therefore selected to be dumb. It meant that smart black men were careful not to make it obvious.

Also, American history is replete with examples of where Black Americans prospered and their prosperity was destroyed by angry hateful racists who couldn't stand the idea of Black Americans being prosperous, wealthy, and self-reliant. The destruction of the Greenwood District in Oklahoma City, known as Black Wall Street, in 1921 is a famous and notorious example.

These people are a tiny minority both of the world population and of the US population.

Think about how few Jews there are. And consider what an extraordinary impact they have in geopolitics, and how utterly over-represented they are in politics, in the finance industry, and among CEOs of multinational corporations.

Jews are vastly overrepresented especially among the economic elites. One figure I read holds that almost one fifth of the global top 1% are Jews.

And if you do even a cursory examination of the university populations in this country, and likely abroad, you will find that Jews are vastly overrepresented [and yet, unlike Asians, they are not adversely impacted/kept in check by affirmative action?].

To say that Jews alone control global finances and the media, is, of course, false. Among the people, however, who control global finances and the media, the Jews are vastly overrepresented.


And need I mention Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, as well as the many, many other Jews in the Trump administration?

I have several things in mind.

4. Establish racial quotas in universities and various industries to ensure that Jews do not have disproportionate representation. These quotas should extend to appointed positions in government, and should be extremely restrictive. Furthermore, these quotas should also be applied, especially in the case of the government, to persons with Jewish conflicts of interest.

But shouldn't college acceptance and government appointments be based solely on merit? Why should they reflect a perfect pie chart of the racial/ethnic make-up of the country?

5. There likewise should be various housing policies to prevent high concentrations of Jews in various residential areas.

How are they breaking the law, or doing anything immoral by living near one another?

Yep. In just a few decades, we see a huge increase in the number of blacks in the professions, as CEOs, Congressmen and women, and of course, President of the United States. A remarkable change.

Culture is powerful and persistent. In spite of that, and in spite of the pervasive discrimination still encountered by blacks (identical resumes with "black-sounding" names are only two-thirds as likely to get an interview,as those with "white-sounding" names) they are moving up.

And it's not just a few exceptional people,although they lead the way. Black household incomes have been rising faster than those of white families. Still lower, but the gap is narrowing.

That narrowing gap, of course, is one of the things that some whites are angry about, as though the economy was a zero-sum game, and blacks can't do better without whites doing worse. How sad.

I don't know of any whites that are angry about black success, it's a myth.

Or it could be just a matter of those employers have not had a good track record of black employees that did well enough to keep them employed.

And while there may indeed be some of that going on, I think the scenario in your last sentence above is a small percentage of society.

Any good business will only see green (profit) as their goal, and desire the most capable of doing the job.
And the job is not only about the skill level of the employee, but is also about attendance, getting along with other employees and customers, etc.
Skin color is not a concern.

No other group in America had been systematically enslaved and then suppressed by laws and by extra-legal terror. Although every effort was made to suppress their education and economic well-being, they quickly started moving up after the civil rights act.

Or it could be just a matter of those employers have not had a good track record of black employees that did well enough to keep them employed.

One excuse is as good as another when it's "it cudda been."

And while there may indeed be some of that going on, I think the scenario in your last sentence above is a small percentage of society.

It's large enough to have alarmed a lot of racists. If you haven't noticed the increase in black scientists, CEOs, political leaders, and so on, you've missed the last 30 years of American society.

And there are probably black employers that do the same thing with names on resumes to hire.

No evidence of that. Bottom line? Identical resumes with "black-sounding" names had only a two-thirds likelyhood of getting an interview compared to those with "white-sounding" names. No way to dodge that. And yet, we see an increasing number of blacks in higher positions in corporations. It's harder for them than it is for whites, but they are doing it.

It's not hard to show a rise when you are at the bottom.

When legal discrimination ended, and the FBI cracked down on anti-black terrorism, things changed markedly, yes.

Those identical resumes tested that belief. Turns out, you're wrong.
