Left Behind

I've been watching Kirk Cameron's Left Behind movies. I thought all 3 of the movies had a good message, but Kirk Cameron just can't act. I'm not saying the movies shouldn't be watched, great message in them.

I would love to see Cameron's Saving Christmas, I hears he was horrible in that. Sometimes watching a bad movie can be fun.

He was good in Growing Pains.

What if Burt was in some of the left behind movies?
I'd watch.

First one was okay, given the terribly written source material.

The second was basically one long "Kirk Cameron Presents: What I Preach About At Every Speaking Engagement".
I say that because I'd seen him speak at three different events (youth conference, Christian college student conference, and the retirement dinner for the pastor who married my grandparents) prior to seeing LB2, and it's the same "Can you even follow the Ten Commandments?!" setup every time.


Given that many highly respected theologians ripped the series' "biblical basis" to shreds nearly a decade ago, it's no surprise that only three films were made.
