He’s following in Jesus’s footsteps.

Most believers these days don’t understand the scandal of anyone eating with the unclean and the impure.

Coming together at a party, having a feast, laughing and sharing wine sounds like a great idea to me.

but
I think he was suggesting that Jesus was a failure in the human sense in that they decided to kill Him
