"The Just (Justified) Shall Live By Faith, " Romans 1:17

The just shall live by faith, because there is no other way for them to live. Those that have been justified by Christ don't need a religion like Calvinism or Catholicism or whatever. They believe that the work of Christ saves them to the uttermost, Hebrews 7:25.

To add anything to the Gospel is to confess that Jesus does NOT save to the uttermost. It is not the Gospel plus religion, it is the Gospel plus nothing. Jesus did not say, "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to everyone" and then preach Calvinism or Catholicism or whatever. There is no place in the Gospel for religion. "The Just Live By Faith".

There was no religion in the early church. There were some that wanted to put a religious label on the early church, but Paul wanted no part of it, 1 Corinthians 1:10-14. Paul made it clear that his purpose in life was to preach the Gospel, 1 Corinthians 1:17. Paul was not interested in building mighty cathedrals, nor was he interested in taking a poll to see who had been predestinated. Paul spent over 20 years of his life and traveled more than 10,000 miles preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He endured many hardships and sufferings for the sake of the Gospel, 2 Corinthians 11:23-33.

It is the hearing and believing of the Gospel that brings the Holy Spirit, Galatians 3:2. On the day of Pentecost thousands of Jews heard Peter preach the Gospel. They heard the Gospel, they believed the Gospel and they were saved, Acts 2:41."So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God, Romans 10:17.Which is the Gospel. The preaching of the Gospel literally turned Jerusalem upside down. The once lowly apostles became powerful preachers of the Gospel. The Pharisees tried to stop them, but it was no use, Acts 4:13-22. They could not help but to speak of the things that they had seen and heard, Acts 4:20.

The Gospel is what gave birth to the New Testament church. Those that were there, many that were foreigners, Acts 2:5, went back to where that had come from and preached what they had seen and heard. This is how the Gospel message was spread all over that part of the world.

Faith about what?

Faith that Jesus' blood cleans us and not the blood of animals.

NOT faith without obedience to God's teachings. To that, there is no such teaching from God.

Nowhere anywhere are we taught we no longer have to obey God.

We are taught that we have a new covenant, a covenant which still requires obedience, and now also faith.

We are taught that the blood of bulls and goats, circumcision, and the observance of special days are NO LONGER NEEDED.

Why are they no longer needed when they were at one time commanded?

They are no longer needed because now Jesus' blood washed us clean.

It is not the Gospel plus our obedience.

It is the Gospel plus NOTHING.

If it was the Gospel plus the commandments, no one could be saved, because "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23.

You teach that millions for whom Christ died wind up in hell for their sins!

The gospel is about coming to Jesus in repentance of sins, and believing that Jesus' blood washes them away.

That takes doing what the Way says to get saved. You will not get there without living faith, faith with obedience.

So you told a lie earlier. You said:

Yet you teach that millions for whom Christ died shall wind up in hell for their sins in unbelief !

Salvation has been provided for everyone, Hebrews 2:9, but everyone does not want it. Many like yourself reject the Gospel and justification by faith and want to be predestinated.

Even when the scripture plainly says.."That he by the grace of God should taste death foe EVERYONE".

You wont go to hell because of your sins. All the sins of the world were forgiven by Jesus when He shed His blood on the Cross. If a person goes to hell they will go because of their unbelief. And for no other reason.

John 8:24 Jesus said to them that ye shall die in your sins in unbelief! Hell is the second death, and death is the wages of sin Rom 6:23, so your statement is a lie!

This was before He shed His blood. This was before He told them that He had to shed His blood for the forgiving of their sins. They didn't know about His blood covering their sins. He had told them that He had come to forgive the sins of the world, but they didn't understand what that entailed. Now this is what is known as "rightly dividing the word of truth." All the Bible is for us, but it is not all to us. Jesus was "sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." Divide the Word.

It doesn't matter when it was, your statement is a lie, men die in their sins, going to hell is the second death, and death is the wages of sin Rom 6:23!
