Magazine Names Planned Parenthood President, Bruce Jenner Among ‘Women of the Year’

Glamour Magazine has announced that Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards and former Olympian Bruce Jenner, who goes by the name Caitlyn, are among its named “Women of the Year” for 2015.

The magazine posted articles about the two this week, praising them for their impact on society.

“Richards oversees a federation with more than 10,000 employees at 700 Planned Parenthood centers across the country,” writer Genevieve Field writes about the leader of the abortion giant, acknowledging that Planned Parenthood performs 300,000 abortions a year. “Even in the face of deep state and federal funding cuts, the organization remains one of the largest reproductive health care providers in the nation.”

The piece also quotes from actress Lena Dunham, stating that “[Richards] is fighting for each and every one of us. I would follow her into a burning building and still not be half as brave as she is.”

Glamour Magazine dubs Bruce Jenner as a “champion” for 2015, titling its “Woman of the Year” article, “Caitlyn Jenner, Trans Champion: ‘Maybe This is Why God Put Me On Earth.'”

“A year, an iconic Annie Leibovitz photograph, an Arthur Ashe Courage Award, and 4.5 million Instagram followers later, Jenner is finding new meaning in her life,” piece reads. “[A]fter years of feeling she had to hide who she is at all costs, she is determined to be relentlessly open.”

“While Jenner’s journey clearly resonates with viewers—her show has just been picked up for a second season—her ultimate impact is more potently measured in small moments,” the piece reads. “She is thrilled that she can finally wear nail polish long enough that it starts to chip off.”

But some are concerned about those that the world chooses to applaud for their actions.

“Exalting Cecile Richards, Planned Parenthood’s CEO to ‘Woman of the Year’ following the publicized videos nightmare is unthinkable to civilized people,” writes Believers Stand United. “While championing ‘women’s rights,’ Glamour Magazine forgets the rights of the human beings developing in their mothers’ wombs.”

“Is there anything more that you need to say about the craziness of today’s society of how we have turned reality upside down?” asked Dr. Michael Brown in an online video commentary on Jenner’s exaltation. “I am … concerned about the 99 percent of the society that is now having this social madness imposed on us—a man being chosen as woman of the year.”

Sickness, pure sickness.

Rock and hard place, Bruce Jenner and Janice Raymond?

My sister said Jenner is not going to have a sex change, or he has not had one, whatever, I said he was very popular once, and maybe now is doing this to catch the limelight again. Who knows??

I think it would be very funny if Bruce Jenner married Janice Raymond, as she is all that, lesbian :kookoo:

As a Pastor recently stated " Sin is worshiped" in the U.S.. And the social influence the U.S. has ( financial, political ET.) , spreads it's influence.

I wouldn't say sin is worshiped but it's certainly glorified. The sinful lifestyle is portrayed in media and society as being for the young and exciting. Many youths fall into the trap and when they turn 30 they realize what the important things in life really are. Sometimes later than that.

Yuck! And to think I used to read Glamour when I was young! It does not come into the house now, and my daughter does not read it.

I get so tired of hearing or seeing Bruce Jenner. Who cares, if I wanted to see a train wreck I'd do so with my train layout.

It's a sad commentary on America. And now we have Trump hosting SNL

Which in itself has descended far lower than the sewer. I've tried to watch it lately and it's awful. The worst was when Eli Manning was host and embarrassed himself mightily. I've never liked him since.

Giving glory to sin is worshiping sin.
