ECT The church is glorious

There has never been anything like the church, a nation within the nations, a people of God.

All over the world today men and women will bow their heads and quietly commit their souls to Jesus and be saved, because the church is here.

People will gather to Him, bringing not only their needs and the needs of their loved ones but the needs of their community, their nation, their world...God hears their prayers, God REIGNS in this world through the prayers, the faith and the aspirations of His people

Even when these things are low, He still reigns on their behalf.

When the church is gone there will be nothing but darkness.

Don't you claim the Jews are Gods people?

Do you not think (wrongly) that the 144000 are Jewish evangelists?

I know nothing about 144,000 Jewish evangelists.

The Jews are God's people laid aside at the present time.

There has never been a people like the Jews who could survive as a recognisable ethnic nation while dispersed among all nations for 2,000 years. That is miraculous.

And they are witnesses for Christ, for who has not heard that they were dispersed for rejecting Him.

Judaism was their main recognition not ethnicity.

Other religions have also survived, and the main reason Roman Catholicism has survived is because they have preserved the Bible even if they do or do not live up to it.

God has not preserved the Jews who sinned against Him and were scattered. They are all dead.

The Jews who believed Jesus became Christians of no denomination.

It is the Christians who will be gathered at the return of Jesus regardless of their ethnicity, as Israel of the OT was from (and in) all nations as well.

Deu 30:1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,
Deu 30:2 And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;
Deu 30:3 That then
the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.
Deu 30:4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:

There is only the Bride , the children of the Bride, and those of the nations who believed His Prophets in not taking the mark.

It all has nothing to do with ethnicity.

You believe the word of the world.

Only 9.5 of the tribes were dispersed. The other 2.5 are the house of Judah who returned after Babylon captivity. The House of Israel were captured from Assyria and have yet to return
They have been dispersed to become as Gentiles.

We are all saved the same way, whether Jew or Gentile, or anything else.

Christ is NOT divided. See 1 Corinthians 1:13 Is Christ divided?

ALL were bound to disobedience. See Romans 11:32.

Paul sums up his teaching concerning the Jews thus

For I would not brethren that ye should be ignorant of this mystery....lest ye be wise in your own conceits

That blindness in part has happened unto Israel UNTIL the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.

And so all Israel will be saved as it is written "there shall come out of Zion the Deliverer and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob, for this is My covenant with them when I shall take away their sins"

As concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sakes but as touching the election they are beloved for the father's sake

For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

None of this good promise shall fail..

All can come to Jesus. There are Jews coming to Jesus now.

Paul was letting the believers know that the Jews were not cut off forever...that within the Jewish community---there are true believers who will come out of her and will be saved. It must have seemed as if God cut off all Jews forever. If God had cut off all Jews forever, then SOME TRUE BELIEVERS will be cut off forever. Since that is not the case---all Israel (meaning all true believers) will be saved, because not a whole race of people will be cut off.

There isn't another time and another way Jews can be saved.

We all have to be saved now through Jesus, and before Jesus comes again.

When Jesus comes again, it will be too late to be saved, for when Jesus comes again, it will not be to bear sin. We are saved by the repenting and forgiveness of our sins.

This is Paul speaking.

1 Thessalonians 5:4 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.

Paul says the day Jesus comes should not surprise you like a thief.

Read what Peter says. Peter tells us the same thing, that the Lord comes like a thief.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

We have Paul and Peter in agreement.

Now read what Jesus says after he was on earth, died, and rose again. This is what Jesus says after he was seated in heaven:

Revelation 3:3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.

Now we see that Paul, Peter, and Jesus Christ are in agreement.

Jesus says that he is coming like a thief in the night, so we must be ready at all times, we must repent. Jesus in Revelation tells us repent is about sins.

When Jesus comes again, he will NOT come to bear sin. That is why we must not be caught in sin when he comes.

Hebrews 9:28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

Luke 21:34
"Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap.

When Jesus comes like a thief in the night, he will not come to bear sin. We had better be ready and not be caught in sin and be shamefully exposed. Obeying Jesus is to be clothed with Jesus.

Revelation 16:15
"Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed."

Yeah, okay - an institution a thousand times worse in its sin against the Son's finished work and His saints then Israel ever was, is why the RCC survived.

Slow down on that Kool-aide, Jim...

Read Jeroboam and how God made promises to him if he was faithful.

Some are and some are not.

Judging all members by the institution is dumb.

The church is not the OT Israel

They were blest if they obeyed or cursed if they did not

We are saved for all times according to Hebrews by a single sacrifice.

We are save by grace through faith

The Church is the body of Christ.

All have to come through Jesus to be made perfect, even those who lived and died in the Old Testament times.

Hebrews 12:23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,
They were blest if they obeyed or cursed if they did not

We are saved for all times according to Hebrews by a single sacrifice.

We are save by grace through faith

We still have to obey.

OT Israel never really became the church. God was ready to cast them aside several times until Moses pleaded with God. Then they continued in their lawlessness until God cast both houses of Israel away. Eventually the House of Judah came back from Babylon but the House of Israel never returned and has been dispersed among the nations to become as Gentiles. Still God says he will bring back both Houses together in the last day.

Yes the prophecy which says they would be dispersed says they will be re-gathered.

The only gathering that matters is the Jews and Gentiles who gather in Jesus now.

All the Jews were bound to where the Gentiles were.

All Jews must come to Jesus before Jesus comes again. It is that way for EVERYONE.
