By the way... thanks for the offer but I will pass.

First off... two's company, three is a crowd.

Secondly... I woke up this morning with a RAGING head cold. I am miserable! I have medicated myself as much as the law will allow. I can only hope at this point I am being coherent.

Good luck today fool, I do like you... you have a humbleness about you that makes you really likable.

I still don't get it. What is your moral standard? In other words, how do you determine if act X is moral or immoral?

The second show is up on kgov.com and I just finished listening to it. I appreciate the discussion of whether or not anything God does is righteous regardless of what that might be. That is one of my objections to the settled view. How could God tell us that rape and murder are bad, but on the other hand plan every instance of it, and still be righteous? (sorry, not trying to start that debate up here) Great show, looking forward to part 3!

Rev. Lovejoy: "That's Catholic, Marge - you might as well ask me to do a voodoo dance."

"Oh bother" said Pooh, as he chambered the next round.

I have the album it is on. Tony Funderburk? You can get it from kgov.com in the online store.

Added in edit: Hmmmmm... after a second look, I don't think the current BEL intro song is on that album, but the "Do right and risk the consequences" song is for sure.

It appears to be based on who does it, rather than the act itself. Sometimes it's okay to cut down children with swords, even a sin to refuse to do so. It's a type of moral relativism, which is ironic, given how much most conservatives hate liberal moral relativists.

Hello TOL! This old program is now linked to from kgov.com/debates and appears at kgov.com/atheist-debates-enyart-on-gods-rights. I think about Fool occasionally and pray for him when I do. We're all more than 10 years older than we were back then, and nearer to the afterlife. For those who trust in Christ, we will then see God face to face. For those who hate Him, they will see God face to face, too.
The Bob Enyart Live talk show airs at KGOV.com weekdays at 5 pm E.T. Also, same time, same station, check out Theology Thursday (.com) and on Fridays, Real Science Radio (.com) a.k.a. rsr.org. All shows are available 24/7 and you can call us at at 1-800-8Enyart.

I might check these out soon. It just so happens, I've been watching some atheist vs Christian debates that popped up on youtube while watching Will Duffy and Slick in the Open Theism vs. Calvinism Thread here. I'm watching Hitchins against various Christians lately.

I looked at the list of users who have visited in the last 3 days and saw Bob's name so I clicked on it and looked for his most recent post, finding this thread.

This was the first of a 4 part series. The Roman Numerals at the bottom of my signature are links to the four threads. However, the links to the shows in the thread have gone stale.
