Woman murdered by ex while waiting for gun permit

Except she bought a security system, filed police reports on his vandalism and harrassment and stalking and got a restraining order before applying for the gun permit...

Yes that is rather elaborate just to get a handgun.

But see my reply to Tomo below...

Hmmm....I would think that if one were going to break the law to get a handgun it would be advise-able to not wave a flag in front of the local police.
Trust me...illegal guns are not hard to find in N.J.

A plan doesn't have to be efficient, intelligent,
or even fully coherent, for a felon to use it.

Criminals prove this on a daily basis.

I'm not saying this is the case here.

Just talking about future crimes.

As guns get harder to get, and I'm sure they will,
as we evolve toward a police state,
people will come up with more creative ways to get them.

We must be inside the 18 month window
for a Presidential election/inauguration, the mass
killings and cries for gun control
have now begun......

Yet blacks only make up 13 percent of
the American population, and commit
more than 50 percent of the murders
here in the U.S. Aren't the crackers
entitled to a couple of crazies every four
years?

No one I know is anti Law Enforcement,
just anti criminals with badges never being
held accountable for their criminal behavior.

Of course, you would actually have to be
paying attention and have an ounce of
discernment to know the difference.

That husband has a duty to be armed, according to the NRA and its supporters.

And he has a duty to protect himself if he feels the need.

You have the obligation to also be discerning. Words like "never" are generally suspect.
