so why is dialogue so difficult?

they won't answer my questions

maybe they are too busy

they have time to post that they already answered the question

maybe answering the question takes more time

then they should just give me a link like amr does

not everyone is organized as he is

I wonder if any of his links got deleted

are you still worried about that?

I lost a lot of stuff

well get over it

they won't answer my questions

do you have any examples?

I asked if a homosexual could adopt mad beliefs

what was the answer?

silence and distraction

so you didn't get an answer?

there were at least a dozen hanging around to hear it

what happened?

finally nick pointed out that homosexual was an activity

a fine distinction

to accommodate him I said this person had stopped his homosexual activity?

then what?

more silence and more distractions

so no one answered?

finally tambora said any sinner could adopt mad beliefs

and would be saved?

yes and would no longer sin

so this person could go back to his homosexual activity

I couldn't get them to confirm that

Asking questions is not dialogue
Unless you offer an opinion
Is it?

Right! I feel that if I ask a question of another then I ought to give my thoughts on the subject too.
I am not comfortable with a person who assumes the role of "Grand Interlocutor" because that assumes to be a place of judgment?
I don't expect to agree in all aspects with others but I am here to learn and to share.

answering questions is the beginning of a dialogue

all answers should be considered opinions

Some answers are objective listings of knowable data.
If I quote Holy Scripture, that is a fact. If I give my interpretation, that is eisegesis.

it is your opinion that the quoted scripture applies to the question

A certain poster here, who there ought to be no need to name, reminds me of a traffic signal.

Green, then red, then green again, then red again, sometimes green only briefly, so briefly you'll miss that green phase altogether if you don't pay close attention, sometimes red for extended periods but then suddenly green once more.
