Hi to all and I just read that in Acts 2:17 where the Holy Spirit will be POURED upon ALL FLESH !

Will a Pentecostal , please explain what all FLESH , means in this verse ??

I will pour upon , is in the FUTURE TENSE , and explain that also ?

So , compare the following passages :

#1 , Isa 11:6-9 !

#2 , Isa 65:25 !

#3 , Hosea 2:18 !

#4 , Ezek 34:25-28 , And I will make peace with them a covenant and will cause the Evil beasts to cease out of the land !

Did anyone see that HAPPEN at Pentecost , did we MISS IT ??

OR , is it just another PARABLE , and not to be taken seriously ??

For you it is.

Joel is the prophet you should be quoting regarding what happened In Act 2.

the quote from Joel was used as a metaphor for what was occurring that day.

As you have noticed, much of what was quoted from Joel did not occur on that day of Pentecost, but the seriousness of that prophecy was the issue being communicated.

They were no more drunk with wine as those spoken of the the prophecy of Joel would be drunk with wine on that day
