Main themes in scripture.

The Word Created man/adam as complete and whole. fully capable of communing physically and spiritually with God. Death was not part of the makeup of man, but was only a potential.

Man chose His own control of his own rewards and blessings by desiring to be like God by knowing Good and evil.

Rather than choosing relationship with God in Love He chose to control his own reward access by bypassing the purity of relational love.

Man died spiritually because of this choice and God no longer trusted him.

God did not want man to live eternally in a state of misery and decaying sin, so He Kicked adam out of eden Not wanting him to partake of tree of Life/eternal.

God through the example of family wanted to show his intents for proper relationship.
mans dysfunctional conscience fails him, causing the flood.

God chooses Abraham and Sarah to show His glory and purposes through a family and people group.

Abraham and Sarah goes beyond the oneness of marriage in lack of faith by having ishmael.

people group of israel fail in being faithful and become slaves in egypt.

moses brings out the 10 commandments and the extended law for The people group of israel.

The law is a help to men for their dysfunctional conscience and physical health considerations.

men fail in observing the law and desire a king and nation based existence.

men fail this model opportunity to show the glory of God on the earth.

Jesus comes to restore all things lost. In the garden and spiritual nature of man having eternal life. Jews and gentiles now have access to this born again status within the Body of Christ/church including and gathering people from all groups/nations/tongues.

This period of gathering the present faithful and born again as well as the past faithful in abrahams bosom is presently continuing till the new heaven and earth age/period.

James makes it clear who he is writing to. So we should also.
(Hint: it ain't Gentiles.)

James 1:1 KJV
(1) James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

How do you know who is and who is not of the tribes who were lost/scattered? Who in this world was and was not alive in the loins of those tribes/people?

You can't know.

Nevertheless, you can have your interpretation. And, I will have mine.

May peace be with you and between us.

God does not have a double standard, one standard for Israel and a different standard for Gentiles. What's good for one is good for all.

For right now, yes.

But there was a time when God told Israel to live under different standards than the Gentiles.

Things changed.

STP's simple explanation of MAD:

1. Land - God promised land to some people in the Bible. Their faith in what God told them was evidenced by what they did.

2. City - God promised a City to some people in the Bible. This church formed in early Acts. Their faith in what the LORD Jesus told them was evidenced by what they did.

3. The Heavenlies - God promised the heavens to some people in the Bible. This church is called the Body of Christ and began forming in Acts. God never told them to do anything but believe on the LORD Jesus Christ. Their faith is in the faith of Christ.

ONE kingdom of God, ONE house of God, made up of three churches each with it's own eternal purpose as God saw fit to give it.

In the end, the entire universe will be filled with God's children: the heavens, the holy city, and the earth.

The JWs would agree with that.

So what they, the MAD community ignores is OT prophecy saying that Jesus would be establishing a church after the order of Melchizedek. What do we know of Mel? He existed before a Jew ever walked the earth. he existed before any Jewish law was ever written. In His church He mediated to God for mankind, maybe individually, maybe as a whole it's not clear. He was what Jesus is now. And Jesus is now, in the same way, after the order, as Melchizedek was.

So if you have a church that runs as God ran the church before He wrote the law, why does obedience enter into it for anyone?

Since Mel was before JEW or GENTILE existed when Paul said there is no Jew or Gentile, it now makes more sense, right?

Is there a point hidden in this somewhere?

This is an irrational response. That a particular group agrees or disagrees with an idea has no bearing on the truth of the idea.

Try to respond rationally instead of being a troll. :thumb:

You do not like the obvious association...

Of course I don't like the association. That is why you make it, to provoke an irrational response.

Quit being a troll. :troll:

...that's all.
Nope, that's not all. The fallacy of association is the tool of a man who has no sensible contribution to make. You show yourself incapable of defending your ideas when you stoop to such lame tactics.

LA, don't you ever get sick of yourself for looking like such a "Dunce?"

What you say affects your future, not mine.

Pro 10:8 The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.
Pro 10:9 He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.
Pro 10:10 He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall.
Pro 10:11 The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
Pro 10:12 Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.
Pro 10:13 In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding.
Pro 10:14 Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.
