But there is not scientific evidence that reducing emissions will actually reverse any of the damage done. Working on clean technology is the only way to go, but the problem with that is that a lot of technologies that we think are clean have a lot of back end emissions that people forget to add to the equation. (Electric cars being one of them, depending on the source of the energy used to charge the vehicle, they can actually be more harmful to the environment, since they have a larger carbon investment up front than plain gas/diesel vehicles).

The Arctic ice increased 60% in 2013 from 2012 because of global warming.
Even funnier is the fact that another ice breaking ship got stuck in the ice while attempting to rescue the "Ice-bound morons" that were stuck in the ice.
Both these ships got stuck in ice because of global warming.
Apparently when the earth gets warmer because of man made carbon emissions, the ice gets thicker, and ice breaking ships then get stuck in ice.
