GR, AMR, and I(and others) disagree with your Modalism. It's not a personal thing, though it's true that sometimes the arguments do get pointed.

AMR went against me for saying the essence of God is Spirit. Why don’t you correct him? Why do you think he is so wise for going against the truth?

We are all saying that God is spirit. This is a description of God's essence.

I can say that my vehicle is a car or that it is a Mazda specifically. It is made out of metal and plastic (essence). If you ask what it is, I answer above with qualifications.

You are being more than unreasonable. Who is God? YHWH. What is God? Is He a tree? No, He is spirit. What is His essence? SPIRIT?!

This should not be confused with the Holy Spirit vs spirit.

AMR gave you countless verses. You simply make assertions, dismiss evidence without even reading it, whine about a simple link, beg the question with your odd views (vs prove them).

Even if AMR is wrong (he is not), you would have lost or been disqualified from a formal debate days ago.

Grow up...we all have posting styles and there is nothing wrong with what he is doing. You are just resorting to personal attacks over petty things because you cannot answer his points and the verses to back them up. All you do is spout refuted Oneness dogma based on ignorance.

I have also defended you (your salvation, more important than a theological point or argument) against AMR. I am being objective when I criticize your blind spots, errors, and unreasonableness.

Another substantial post by AMR that may short-circuit GT's brain or cause eyes to glaze over.

AMR has biblical truth on his side.

As a quibble, I do not agree that rejecting the trinity means one is not saved. I would say this about Arians/JWs/Unitarians, but not Oneness, as wrong as they are (they do not reject the Deity of Christ, just the trinity...they reduce personal distinctions to modes/manifestations, a smaller matter than saying Jesus is created vs uncreated).

TD Jakes has apparently renounced Oneness and become trinitarian. I think he was as much saved before and after this. TV guys are not always astute theologians, duh.

If GT objects to essence, she/he/it will object to generation Son, procession Holy Spirit. This is a Catholic, Orthodox, etc. philosophical debate, not an explicit one. Given the eyes glazing over, the basics outlined with the verses will be the focus GT should deal with. Nuanced understandings later in church history have a speculative element and beyond GT scope.
