Christ created saints’ church in heaven, not corrupt worldly church.
He said that his kingdom is not here. Then disdaining worldly kingdom in life why he would fall for kingdom here after ascension to heaven? One might object that roman church is not a kingdom. Why not? they had territory, metropolis, army, wars and ruler. Though he was called pope but really was a king. They enthroned and crowned him. They enthroned Christ and crowned too in images and called Christ king as they did before crucifying him. Christ suffered it then and suffers it now too when they make him king. It is nothing but insult to him, which he takes patiently. He never wants to be king but brotherly love from us. But we have lost that celestial brotherly love, when we fell from heaven worshipping lord-Devil. So having that slavish mentality we treat Christ with that by calling him lord.
The original church and the infighting corrupt churches that descended from it, orthodoxies and protestants cant be the church Christ made. They are so worldly! He made the real Christlike church, the community of saints, in heaven.

Though he used the term kingdom to represent heaven often perforce, as it can’t adequately convey the idea of heaven. Kings are devil’s representatives on earth running their kingdoms by extortion, murder and terror. Modern democracy of freedom and participation can represent church and heaven better than that. But then such democracy was nonexistent. So I use democracy to represent heaven and community of saints, i.e. the real church.

Really he wanted to make a society (church) of saints in heaven, recruiting and regenerating the seeking people here. Peter was recruited first as he confessed the heavenly nature of Christ. Worldly church is just a recruitment base, corrupt in this corrupt world under devil. Such bases worldly organizations also have in far regions. To take these bases full of vices as the real church of Christ is slandering Christ and heaven. Though the 1st century recruitment base was more like the heavenly church, being constantly purified by cross, later those bases were polluted by the world.

Christ never wanted those recruitment bases to be under a ruler like a king. So he sent his apostles in different continents too apart for communication and never told them obey and take orders from any leader except him. But Catholic Church interpolated verses in gospel to project Peter as the ruler to support papacy.

All the worldly organization tends to be totalitarian. So, the main recruiting base in Rome becoming worldly powerful by organizational unity sought to control all the bases then by power. Christ wanted not that but the unity of love that is possible only in heaven, not here.
