Does Romans 7:1-3 affirm different rules for women and men regarding adultery?

And where is this New Covenant Jesus made reported, in the NT? That's the gospel of Paul. If Jesus had been a Christian, I would not argue with you but, Jesus was a Jew and his gospel was the Tanach, not the NT. The NT he never even dreamed it would ever rise. If you cannot use the Tanach to show any thing about Jesus, you have no other way out.

I'm sorry that you don't see Jesus as your Saviour, but we believe in the same God. However, I cannot argue any valid NT points, unless you come to belief. Try looking at PSALM 22, where King David is speaking, when suddenly The Spirit of Jesus takes over, prophesying His crucifiction death.

I agree with you but, in a perfect manner, indeed, no human can fulfill the Law but we are supposed to be found in the process to. Even Jesus did not when he broke the Golden Rule 15 times in Matthew 23:13-33. Besides, we have Ecclesiastes 7:20 saying that, "There has never been a man upon the earth to have done only good and never sinned, and that included Jesus himself.
WRONG!

You saying Jesus sinned???? :0

You saying Jesus sinned???? :0

Not me but you will if you can think without preconceived notions. Have you ever heard about the Golden Rule? It says not to do unto others what you would not like they did unto yourself. Do you think Jesus would have liked to be addressed to as a hypocrite and brood of vipers? I don't think so. That's what the guy who wrote the gospel of Matthew says in 23:13-33 that Jesus did to the Jewish authorities. If you ask me, I don't believe he did it but hey! It is written in the NT.

Then, there was the case of the money changers in front of the Temple. Jesus caused them financial and physical damages when he could have used his charisma to remove them from there. He also broke the Golden Rule in there. BTW, the Golden Rule covers the whole second part of the Decalogue. Serious transgressions right there!

I can't see Jesus as my savior because HaShem is my only Savior and Redeemer. Read Isaiah 43:1,3. I do hope we believe in the same God Who is of an absolute Oneness. Psalm 22 has nothing to do with Jesus. Now, your "Suddenly, the spirit of Jesus takes over," is only according to your Christian preconceived notions. There is no truth to it. Jesus died and, according to his gospel which was the Tanach, once dead, no one will ever return from the grave. Read II Samuel 12:23; Isaiah 26:14; Job 7:9; etc.

You're on the wrong threat Mr Masada.

I wonder why because I am simply sharing with you all the Truth from the gospel of Jesus which was the Tanach. Regarding the thread, the point is not about adultery but about getting rid of the Law with the death of Jesus. (Romans 7:1-6

re Ps 22,
That would be the point of the NT, Ben. Christ was raised and given all authority. so when he continued to teach during the 40 days from his resurrection to Pentecost, he showed his followers how to read the previous scriptures in light of his position. Thus there are 2500 uses of the "OT" by the NT. So the "truth to it" is that it is exactly how and what Christ taught. I'm not asking you to agree, just saying what it was clearly.

Btw, re the resurrection, the most frequent passage as taught by the apostles about that was Ps 16, that Christ was the Holy One who would not see corruption. There are passages as old as Job that say that the believer will be resurrected to be with God.

Back to the OP question, Prov 5, from the most stable period of Israel's kingdom, shows us monogamy rather clearly. It does not show polygamous loyalty by both spouses, but monogamy. The polygamous period was due to the loss of men in wars.

"The New Covenant in Jesus!" What Covenant are you talking about? The only New Covenant I am familiar with was the one with the House of Israel and the House of Judah. (Jeremiah 31:31)If you are referring to the NT, Jesus had never even dreamed it would ever rise. Probably you made a mistake and said Jesus instead of Paul, the founder of Christianity. (Acts 11:26)

God does Two Things to Show Mercy to the Faithfu1:
1. God blesses us with the "Hearing of his Word" if he is pleased with our Trial of Faith (victory over dead work and dead flesh, that contradicts the Gospel's Written Word in our Hearts).
2. God blesses our work to supplicate the "Hearing of his Word", if he is pleased with the reproofs our testimony provides for the gospel's program/message of salvation (memorial of the saints that is a picture of the Body of Jesus/or/precepts of the gospel as the mechanism in abstaining from ungodliness in manner and deed).

God did not largely exercise the "Blessing of Work as Supplication for the Hearing of his Word", until the New Testament (that is when the Gentiles came into view with God) ............. God did not Bless the Taking of Wives (Falling Short of the Gospel's Message) until he cut off the Hearing of his Word in the Churches, that is a New Testament Transition of the Second Commandment ............. Lets Go Backwards a Moment:

(History of God's Limitation of Blessing Work)
Abraham to David - 1Peter3:5-7/Romans 4:3, for some length of time God only viewed the work of the Sons of Man as the "Work that God would bless to supplicate the Hearing of his Word", that is to say God poured out his spirit to show his mercy even if the Hearing of his Word was not present for his purposes of revealing the completion of the gospel's program/salvation program.
David to Babylon - 2Samuel1:17-18/2Samuel20:11-12/Acts1:16-19, God never blessed the Work of any beyond the Sons of Man until the time of King David, than God began to bless the Work of the Nations, with diversity to try their measure of faith, God was giving his written Gospel and as a reproof God used the Sons of Man, but God also began to Bless the Work of the Nations with diversity ............ (Saul claimed that Samuel told him he was the "Head of the Tribes", but God did not divide the title of Head of the Priesthood from Head of the Tribes, until the New Testament with Jesus, this was only an observance in God blessing the work outside the Sons of Man, exclusively).
Babylon to Christ - Zechariah7:8-12/John16:7-11, God allowed the Babylonians to take the Church out of Jerusalem into bondage temporarily before they were allowed to return to Jerusalem to illustrate that he was going to pour out his Wrath into the Church as the completion of the New Testament.............Now with Jesus Christ, we are convicted of sin for not receiving his Body through the Hearing of the Word in the New Testament, that completes the Old Testament. That is to accept the chastisement of the Gospel's Message until Jesus provides us with a New Heart to complete our Hearing of the Word..................At the same time this is true, God cuts off the Hearing of the Word in the Churches to Bless their Work, the same way God has been blessing the Work of the Nations for some time beforehand. This is the enmity, between the Elect/Believers and the Church that has also existed with the Nations, because God does not use the "Hearing of his Word" to bring his blessings, God uses their Word in observance of the Precepts of the Gospel to bless their Work.

(The Elect/Believer we are commanded to have one wife and that is the Lord Jesus, in the chastisement of our Heart with his Word, and in the chastisement of our person in all manner of holy conversation and deed ....... dividing ourselves spiritually from any manner of intercession in receiving the gospel's message through any person or entity ....... using the impersonal nature of the written word, and due processes of the law to complete our Marriage to Jesus and to eschew God's Mercy as a reproof.......................The Church on the other Hand is to Hold itself in High Esteem Among Men because it is unequally yolked with Jesus in Marriage, and the Church is to teach peace and safety and goodwill towards men eschewing the precepts of the Gospel's Message as a reproof in Godliness for all manner of conversation and deed)

God Declares the End of the Division with the Second Commandment, the end of Enmity between Jesus and the Church with the rising of the Lord's Body (Love Your Person as the Marriage to Jesus, rather than Love your Person as Communion with the Church)

LUKE 11:1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
LUKE 11:2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
LUKE 11:3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
LUKE 11:4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
EXODUS 20:11 For [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

God talks about resting from his Work in Heaven, in order to Bless the Work of Creation.............so you can see how this plays on the New Testament Transition of the Second Commandment..............the Church in Jesus's Day was well aware of the spiritual division that Jesus was bringing and they were well aware of how long it would last. It would last until Jesus removes his Body from the Tomb, NO WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT JESUS COMING OUT OF THE TOMB AS RECORDED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT, instead WE ARE TALKING ABOUT JESUS REVEALING THE SIGN OF DIVORCE, HIS RISEN BODY TO DECLARE THE EVENTS OF REVELATION. (for this reasons, there are a few churches that believe that Jesus gave them a legal right to not observe one or two of the ten commandments to proclaim his return, however, in the New Testament God does not view ten commandments, God only view Two Commandments...Love Jesus with all your Heart, Love your Person as the Marriage to Jesus).

(God does not use the Sons of Man to give a Written Law for the Gospel, Joseph only states the positions the gospel already holds..........inces*/rap*/murde* that the cursed races, Genetic Dan, promotes with the Antichrist, this is only a snare designed to divide your walk of faith, so they can use suicide. Beginning with the New Testament and nearing its completion, as the expression of Joseph the Blessing increases (necessitating the transitions of the Hearing of his Word the Gospel Recounts), Genetic Dan will promote its suicide much more, and also those in sin. When God reveals the Lord's Body, then God will chastise the Nations spiritually the same way the Churches were chastised in the Old Testament. The difference is that God never Chastised the Nations spiritually, so they will be convicted of sin and this help's God discern his mercy, and that includes the complete extermination of the races of Genetic Dan and much more, as we wait to see how God illustrates his reproof when he reveals his body in the City of Philadelphia)

Jesus gives us a parable about a Prodigal Son in Luke 15:11-32. Love and Blessings (God reveals the Lord's Body/Sign of Divorce, then God postpones the Events of Revelation, so that (the Two Witnesses) we can go on a journey and God can show his mercy to reprove the nations that the completion of the Gospel Affords. You will tolerate Genetic Dan's Suicidal Rampages until we return from our Expedition, and then you will kill them all, that is to offer them up to solicit God's Mercy in shows his Sign of Divorce for many more peoples and nations ......... that is how God will discern his mercy for the Events of Revelations, and many will fall short illustrating God's conviction, of giving no Sign of Divorce to many peoples and nations)

Sorry Flaminggg, no offense meant but, there is nothing in this very long post of yours above to harmonize with the gospel of Jesus which was the Tanach. All connections with the NT is of your own Christian preconceived notions.

Interplanner, Jesus was a loyal Jew and, he would not contradict the Divine Word that, once dead, the grave becomes to all of us our eternal home. Read Isaiah 49:12. Hence, Jesus could not have returned from the grave. And there was no eyewitness to the claimed event. BTW, Paul revealed the secret to his disciple Timothy that the resurrection of Jesus was according to his, Paul's gospel. (II Timothy 2:8)

I believe HaShem, my Savior and Redeemer has already opened by eyes. (Isaiah 43:1,3) I hope He will open yours too. You must start walking by sight and not by faith according to the gospel of Paul (II Cor. 5:7) Paul was afraid his followers walked by sight aka understanding and left him. That's why he said that they were to walk by faith and not by sight.

Faith Summary (Continued)

I TIMOTHY 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
I TIMOTHY 6:18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
I TIMOTHY 6:19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Grace = Concerns the Written Word, used to chastise your Heart (Hearing of the Word)
Law = Concerns your Person, in abstaining from intercession based substitution of the Hearing of the Word (Unequally Yolked with all Persons)
Righteousness = Concerns Precepts of the Written Word (Statues of Governance in all manner of Conversation and Deed)
Tithes = Concerns Impartiality of the Written Word, and Due Process of the Law (Good Will Towards Men/Peace and Safety, through the Mechanisms of Division the Gospel Denotes)

--------Those are the General Divisions Above, the New Testament does not share the same groupings as the Old Testament, neither does the Church--------

Individual - In the New Testament, the observance of your Person is not an observance of the Church, concerning the "Law" (New Testament Transition). Therefore "Tithes" are not valuable with God for the Church. Also, "Righteousness" is not a requirement as a result of the "Hearing of the Word" in the New Testament because, "Jesus Blesses Work" has been extended into the Churches, because of this fact, "Unrighteousness" in itself, is not a sole clause for Jesus to cut the "Hearing of the Word" with individuals. (Colossians 3:9-15).

I CORINTHIANS 6:4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
I CORINTHIANS 6:5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
I CORINTHIANS 6:6 But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.
I CORINTHIANS 6:7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather [suffer yourselves to] be defrauded?

Church - God stops the "Hearing of the Word" in the Churches for the New Testament. So the Churches are without "Grace". God wants the churches to fall short, so that the people are convicted of not having reckoned for the chastisement of the written word in their heart, by the acceptance of the fullness of the testaments through Jesus.................Thus God has given the churches a legal reason to not face condemnation from "Unrighteous Work", by the slander of the Gospel, because he has not given them "Grace" for the "Hearing of the Written Word"...............God has also Given the Chuches an Excuse about Intercession and Tithes by appealing to the good fortunes of the nation or governing bodies, because God does not hold the Elect/Believer accountable to the church in the New Testament.................Therefore God counts Tithes with the Churches as the mechanism to bestow his Blessings, in Good Will towards Men, and Peace and Safety as a result of the Nation's adherence to the Gospel's Precepts about Righteousness (The Church does not have a legal right to make its own gospel, or to base its allowances for sin as satisfaction in condemnation of the Elect/Believer..........it is to remain silent in such matters and abstain from controversy because the Church is in Adultery and the Individual is Not, all that statement means is that God does not hold the Churches accountable for not "Hearing the Word", but God holds all men accountable for the "Hearing of the Word".

(Reproof::Not A Flesh and Blood Gospel Only::that means that regardless if what you do, God has separated certain races from his Grace, because he does not use Jesus to pay for all people's sin with Joseph the Blessing, that is not a variable you can modify.............neither is Flesh and Blood a true variable of God's discernment, but it is an outward representation of his satisfaction)

1. Willful Retraction of the Pen*s, is a viable parallel for the Hearing of the Word with Men, through with Flesh and Blood (Hearing of the Word is not conditional of Flesh and Blood, but one testifies of the other to a degree)

2. "Breaking Water" surrounding birth, is a viable parallel for the Hearing of the Word with Women, through with Flesh and Blood (Hearing of the Word is not conditional of Flesh and Blood, but one testifies of the other to a degree)

God has a legal reason to say as the gospel states that women should not minister to men, and they should not minister to adjudicate any church. The reason is simple, women are not designed to be impacted by the "Hearing of the Word" to the same degree as men (where as Genetic Dan, is designed with virtually no impact for themselves by the "Hearing of the Word")................That means Women have a high tendency to attack the "hearing of the word" by nature, and Genetic Dan will do so as apart of their natural inclination. (When God deals with the judgment of a War Tribe, like euthanasia of Genetic Dan, or euthanasia of Aaron, God will typically give a son of man a vessel to identify with their kinds to satisfy the conviction, not always)..............Love and Blessings (Satan wrestles with Flesh and Blood, so for a long time and to the present, Satan will generally shy away from spirituality..........I say unto the present, because spirituality is classified as the hyperdimension...........that is the Lord's Body or Temple Stones becomes a mechanism to drive wickedness into the Flesh and Blood guilty of Sin, so Satan at the end of time does sit at the table with Jesus and the Saints...........so you will all be tried.............this issue about the transition of the Second Commandment, where your Person has Communion with the Church is the issue that reconciles the Events of Revelation with the Gospel's Program and the upheavals of the nations, much more of what we are seeing at present).

Faith Summary (Flesh and Blood Snare)

MATTHEW 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
MATTHEW 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
MATTHEW 22:39 And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
MATTHEW 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

1. Love Jesus with all your Heart
2. Love your Person as the Marriage to Jesus

HEBREWS 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
GALATIANS 2:6 But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person) for they who seemed [to be somewhat] in conference added nothing to me:

1. Written Word to Chastise our Heart, as we wait patiently for Jesus to provide us with a New Heart for the "Hearing of the Word"
2. Unequally Yolked with all Unbelievers, abstaining from Intercession with all Persons
...........
...........
The language above is all you really need to keep in mind to complete your walk of faith, and to present yourself in the image of Jesus who was Crucified to put off dead work and dead flesh, and then redeemed by God's Mercy as incorruptible............A Government, A Institution, A Church, or Any Person cannot impede on the above association of Grace and the Law, Jesus reclassified from 10 Commandments, to only 2 for the New Testament..............there are many theologies designed to attack frailty of "Flesh and Blood" or the apparent nature of the Process of Change, or the Process of Life..........all false, all neglect our daily allowance of sin in the process of life, as apart of our walk of faith and the remission of sin as apart of our acceptance of Jesus..............God used Timothy, or a Son of Man in the likeness of an Angel to give us colorful details about the associations between Grace and Law, as they were used to divide the individual from the church with enmity as apart of the New Testament Transition. However, none of those changes are designed to be harmful or make null the process of salvation:

ROMANS 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law [are] just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
ROMANS 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
ROMANS 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and [their] thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another)

1. Blessings from the "Hearing of the Word"
2. Blessings from "Work" (New Testament Transition for Individuals and the Church)

Tangibility, what God has in view. So there are individuals saved that go through the natural process of their lives without such an adherence or knowledge to the written word, "One Nation Under God", evidence of a Nation's Adherence to the Precepts of Righteousness as evidence of God Blessing Work, but not a requirement............Just like how God has allowed a Church to put forth some of its own Creeds and Blessed it..............both actions are not designed to provide substitution for the language of the salvation program that excludes entire peoples and races, nor does this action provide viability for corrections of the timetable of the Gospel's Program.................God only expanded on the way he used "Blessings from Work", in increasing its scope to facility the new testament transition, for the generation that falls on deaf ears in the Hearing of the Word............neither does "Blessings from Work", serve as a reproof of the "Blessings from Hearing of the Word", however one testifies of the other. (Now the Son of Perdition, those that fall under Genetic Dan's Classification are Guilty of All, regardless of that, there is only chastisement for exterminating their races ahead of the gospel's schedule, so that is a reproof we will have to see soon from the Antichrist, after God provides his provisions of reproof, between global terrorism, global cop killing, and global race war promotion, the stage is set for the Antichrist to take center stage, soon). Love and Blessings. (James 2:10-11/Matthew 12:31-32, Jesus does not pay for all sin with Joseph the Blessings, that means Genetic Dan does not apply and the nations not going into the 5 months of revelation do not apply for mercy at that time .............. what you have now, is a "Flesh and Blood" gospel, that uses suffering and pain, various methods, to authenticate a work based gospel that decides what salvation means on its own terms, http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k492/psalmsamuel/stateID.jpg, this means they won't acknowledge euthanasia or being driven away as a reproof, however, based on the level of force, it will be another 9/11 or another New Orleans, where specific peoples are deceased over a very large area, so we need to see what becomes necessary at this level).
