Christian claim they know Jesus - how do they know that they know?

This is not a trick question it lies at the base of our faith.

The answer is that they don't. None of us does. But therein lies the gift of a choice and the necessity of faith.

Do you have another screename you use, because that one says you have been a member since april 2012, thats only 1 year, not years.

If this has taken place:

Romans 10:9-10 : that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Then this will take place and the person will know:

Romans 8:6 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.
