Hey . thanks all of you for posting and for making me feel welcome. I love you all in Christ. To those who are genuinely concerned about me finding a church, thank you for that. I am not completely against church, nor do I mean to imply that all churches are bad. It's just that in my experience, it grieves me at my heart that so much is taught that I cannot reconcile with God's Holy Word. I love church people and have friends that go, and to be honest with you I have been hurt by churches a lot. Perhaps you good people could offer some insight on how to proceed.

Attending church isn't as important as fellowship with other believers. Maybe a home group, home church, or some sort of small, intimate Bible study would be better....those are the sorts of things I do and they suit me. The goal is not to be a hermit in my faith. Fellowship builds you up. Plus, in a big church, you get about ten minutes of fellowship after the 3-hour-long service where you sit and are lectured to.
